I wake up and pick up my phone. It's sooo nice to have it back after 3 weeks without it. I look at the news app to see if there is anything about the bomb that my dad said about. Sure enough, there is.

There is terror in the city of Cardiff as more bombs are being placed around. Yesterday at 12:45pm, the manager of the LP Towers office block informed us that a bomb had been found in the wall of one of the offices. One of the office workers (Annabelle Heyton) has talked to one of our writers about the events of yesterday afternoon.
"I started work at 1 yesterday, so I got there a bit early, just so that I had time to turn my computer on and put my stuff down in the office. But when I tried to turn my computer on, it wouldn't work. We got the computer technician down to have a look at it, but he couldn't see anything wrong with it, so we assumed it was something to do with the wires. So the electrician came up and found a bomb in the wall. It was the bomb that had made my computer stop working."
The bomb has been taken to the police station, and the scientists have found out that the bomb was timed to go off fifteen minutes after it was found, at 1:00pm Tuesday 28th July 2016.

Wow, I think, lucky they found it when they did. If dad hadn't swapped with Annie for the business trip, he, and all of his co-workers would be dead.
I turn my phone off, go downstairs and walk into the kitchen. After grabbing a bowl of coco pops, I walk into the lounge and turn in the tv. The first thing that comes on is the news. Dads boss is being interviewed about yesterday, and he sounds so stupid trying to be serious, that I burst out laughing and knock my cereal all over myself.
"Woah! What happened in here?"
I point to the telly, I'm still laughing too much to speak.
"Katie? How can you find that funny?"
"What??" Dad always finds his boss funny. He laughs just as much as I do at him. But now he looks very concerned. I look at the tv and realise why he's so worried. They've stopped talking to dads boss and are now talking about the little boy who died when the first bomb went off in the forest last week.
" Oh right. Don't worry dad, I'm not laughing at  him. It was your boss being interviewed."
"Oh thank goodness! Well I think you'd better get changed now anyway."
I leave the room and shout downstairs to the cleaner,
"SALLY! THERES BEEN A SPILLAGE IN THE LOUNGE! PLEASE CAN YOU COME AND CLEAN IT UP!"
I walk upstairs to my bedroom and get changed into a t-shirt and jeans. Even though it's the summer, it's very cold, so I put on a hoodie, and go back downstairs.
I don't feel like staying inside today, even though it's cold, I feel like I should be outside, so I decide to go for a walk.
When I get to the woods, I start to feel scared that those men were going to be there again. After about 10 minutes of walking the other side of the woods, I decide to walk up the steps where I saw them before, so that I can be sure that they won't be there.
When I get to the bottom of the steps, I take a deep breath, and start to walk up them. When I get halfway up the steps, I look though a gap between the trees and see someone standing there. It looks like he's guarding something. Even though it's only one man this time, I start to run away as quickly as I can because I was not expecting anyone to be there. Also, he was still carrying a gun. I decide to cut my walk short, and run all the way home, because I don't want to be there when the man leaves the woods. When I get home I start to wonder what that man was guarding, but I can't think of what it could be, so I just turn on the telly and half watch that while I change into my nightie, get into bed, and fall asleep.
