After Lucy and Edmund changed into spare clothing that Caspian and I gave them, we took them into the chambers where we contained all of the Pevensies' things such as Susan's bow and arrows.
Caspian also had pictures of the lost lords and many of the maps. He even had the events of what occurred in Narnia after the Pevensies left.
"Look! It's Susan's bow!" Lucy exclaimed as she walked over to it. "And her arrows."
"Lucy." Caspian called out as he held out her dagger and her healing cordial. "And healing cordial. May I?"
"Of course." Caspian said as he handed her the items. "They're yours after all."
With that Lucy took the dagger and healing cordial. Edmund was interested in Peter's sword. "This is Peter's sword!"
"Yes, it's been looked after like I said it would be." Caspian replied. "Now it's yours."
"No, Peter gave it to you." Edmund replied. "You should keep it."
Caspian then took out Edmund's flashlight. "I did save this for you though."
He handed Edmund the flashlight and the look on his face was priceless. He looked like a child who didn't get their dream gift.
"Thanks." Edmund said with a forced smile.
I tried not to laugh, however it escaped and I earned a glare from Edmund. Lucy glanced over at the map, looking interested in it.
"Since you all left the Giants of the North surrendered." I explained. "Then we defeated the Calormen at the Great Desert. There is peace all over Narnia."
"Peace?" Lucy and Edmund asked.
"In just three years." Caspian added.
"But if there are no wars and if no one's fighting, then why are we here?" Edmund asked.
"That's a good question." Caspian spoke up. "But I do believe Sabrina has told me that she's had a bad feeling."
"It's a feeling I always get when something bad happens." I explained. "And I'm usually always right."
Drinian then walked in as Edmund asked where we were sailing off to.
"Before I took back the throne from my uncle, he tried to kill the closest friends that my father had." Caspian said. "They are the seven most loyal supporters and the seven lords or Telemar."
"They've fled to the Lone Islands and no one had heard from them ever since." I added.
"So you assume that something happened to them?" Edmund suggested.
"Well if it is then it is my job to find out." Caspian replied.
"What's east of the Lone Islands?" Lucy inquired as she placed her hands on the map.
"Uncharted waters. Things you can barely imagine, tales of sea serpents and much worse." Drinian said.
"Sea serpents?" Edmund asked, taken back by this.
"Alright, that's enough for one day." I said as I clasped my hands. "Why don't we check on Eustace?"
"She's gone soft after having children." Drinian joked around.
"Oh so you think." I retorted. "I'm the same warrior that fought against the white witch and other battles."
Caspian chuckled. "Yes, you're still a strong warrior with a mother's touch of course."
We all walked back up on deck and Lucy and I overheard Reepicheep singing.
It reminded me of when he sang me that lullaby when I was just a child.
