Arriving back at the Capulet Estate Tybalt places his gifts and supplies around Juliet's chambers. He tenderly places his blade on the table beside her bed and kisses her sleeping cheek. Without thinking to stay another few minutes, he turns to leave but a soft murmur turns his head. The tiny kitten, Tibbles, turned to face Juliet's bed. "Dost thou wish to see her, little one?" Tybalt beams at the kitten. As if understanding him, the kitten paws at the bed and Tybalt cannot help but oblige the little creature. His deed done and the kitten nuzzling up against his cousin, Tybalt turns to leave.
"Thou art the most peculiar man, Tybalt," comes her soft voice on his ears. The man smiles and pauses. "Why dost thou say that, Juliet?"
"Thou art kind, so kind at heart." Tybalt can hear her sit up in the bed. He shakes his head and turns to face her, his brow furrowed and his eyes on the floor. "That's not what others say. That's not the truth, cousin."Juliet shakes her head and smiles at him. "None of those other things makes a difference. I can see in thy heart all the love thou canst grant. Love is the strongest thing in the world, thou knowst. Nothing can touch it. Nothing comes close. If we love each other we're safe from it all. Love is the biggest thing there is."
Tiring herself out, the gentle Capulet princess lays back down and pets the small black kitten. As she falls asleep, Tybalt inches closer to her. He brushes the lose strands of her hair out of her face and places another kiss on her forehead. It's the worst way to miss someone, when they are right beside you but you miss them anyways.
