sungeun woke up with a bad headache, the room seeming  to spin around her. the morning sunlight was too bright, making her to quickly shut her eyes again. when she had shut her eyes, events from last night began flooding her memory.

because she was dragged to the party by taehyung, she arrived at min yoongi's house with a frown. after she had encountered several guys she had seen in school, yet never talked to, she felt better. they had greeted her with smiles and twinkling eyes, surprised to see her. she met some of taehyung and yoongi's friends from out of town who came to visit despite it being a school night. there were college kids everywhere. feeling mature, she obliged when she was handed the notorious red solo cup. she downed about four cups, the feelings numb after every cup. the taste of the liquor was, at first, bitter, but with every new cup she was handed, it began to taste sweeter and sweeter.

about an hour after their arrival at the party, she was found sitting on the couch with taehyung and his group of friends. they had treated her nicely, making her feel lightheaded and bubbly inside. or maybe it was the liquor in her system. taehyung, being the party animal, was, of course drunk. every time he downed a drink, he seemed to drink it in some extravagant, showy way, causing an uproar between the group of friends.

the only ones who seemed sober were their friends seokjin and namjoon. out of the corner of her eye, sungeun saw the two huddled closely next to each other on the couch, often whispering to each other and joining in on the jokes and antics of their friends.

it was 9:30 when jungkook texted her, and sungeun was sitting next to taehyung's friend hoseok. she hadn't remembered anything after seokjin and namjoon had drove her home last night.

shit she had been drunk texting jungkook. turning over and grabbing her phone, sungeun braced herself for the embarrassing messages she must've sent jungkook last night when she was drunk. she cringed all throughout reading her messages, and especially because of the last ones. drunk confessions. maybe it'd be more believable if she hadn't been drunk.
