Chapter 10: Captured

* Aphmau's pov *

"What do you want Zane"."Ouch, not even a simple hello?"." What is it that you want" I turned to Malachi "Malachi take your brother to Zoey okay?"."Okay mommy". They ran along to the house and Zane and I were alone. "You know very well what I want, my brother and you as my wife"." No, he is my guard and I will protect him as he does for me, I will never marry you and you know it". I shot back.

"Muhahaha, well then...I suppose I have no choice then to destroy Phoenix Drop as I did Meteli". I heard metal foot steps behind me, when I turned around Okasis guards were lined up like wheat fields. "I really don't even need my brother if I'm honest, as long as one of the Ro'meave brothers are married they can take over, I just want you". I stood in shock of what might happen.

"I'll ask again, will you marry me Aphmau". I had to protect my people but, I was being forced against my will to marry someone I don't even love. My hands shook as I said this one word...."Y...y...yes"

* Garroth's pov *

I wanted to go check on Lady Aphmau but when I knocked on the door Zoey said she was by the tree house somewhere. I looked in that direction and saw my brother proposing to my lord along with a hundred Okasis guards.

As I ran closer I heard Lady Aphmau say one word that stopped me in my tracks. "Yes".......I stopped. Anger filled me from head to toe, she was being forced to marry. "Zane!, what do you think you are doing!"." Brother!, great to see you I was just about to leave actually".

"Aphmau are you okay?, you monster you forced her didn't you?"." Monster?, haha hahaha, oh brother you are such an idiot aren't you?, let's go Aphmau we will get married tomorrow, and you know what, your head guard will be there to watch.

I pulled out my sword, but as I swinged , a sharp stab hit me in the chest, I was knocked out. Last thing I remember was the scream of Lady Aphmau saying " GARROTH".
