Addie's POV

I was walking down to the living room just to hear Mark and Wade talking. I heard Mark yell "The fuck?", and I became interested. I went into Wade's room, where Molly was chilling on the bed.

"Everything okay?" She asked, setting her book down.

"I think someone's here to see Mark, come spy on him with me." I said, creeping over to the window. At the right angle, I could see him talking to some blonde girl that wore WAY too much lip gloss.

"Oh shit." Molly said. My attention had been compromised by thinking about the over glossed lips.

"What?" I said, reverting my attention to Mark, only to see him and blonde bitch locking lips. "What the hell?" I cursed. I pulled myself away from the window, and went to go sit on her bed.

"Are you okay? Why do you look like you're about to puke everywhere?" She asked, worry poking through her voice.

"I have a disgustingly large crush on Mark." I shuddered.

"Annddd that's a bad thing...?" She questioned.

I shrugged. "No, I just feel like my emotions punched me in the face, kicked me in the uterus, and shanked me in the ribs." I said, moving over on the bed to make room for her. "I liked him when we were younger too, but I got over it because of the age gap and because Wade would kill me. Ugh, what am I gonna do? I see Mark for the first time in years and I crumble that easily back to my old feelings?"

"Then make it known. He's only going to be here for another few days, and you'll be moving to Pasadena soon right?" I nodded as she plopped down next to me.

"Did you not just see the tonsil tennis game that just happened on your front stoop?" I sighed. I just wanted to go take a bath for a solid three days. I stood up and walked to the doorway, quickly telling Molly what I was going to do. I filled the bath with this sickeningly sweet smelling bubble bath and climbed in. I swear, I could've gotten high off of all those fumes. Yet, I stayed in, not wanting to go out and see Mark.

What even happened out there? What was so gravitating about that blonde bitch to the point where they had to make out? It's not like I'm not dropping hints, but he's not picking up on anything. It's hard when Wade's here, because all hell would break loose if he knew that I was into Mark. I'm talking smashing shit and screaming.

I sighed and sank down into the hot water, the bubbles welcoming me. I blew on them, and some went flying away. I yawned and check the time on my phone, and it was only 7:28. It was nice and dark outside, and now I just want to sleep.

I drained the tub eventually, after being in the bubble soup for about a half an hour. I dried off and brushed out the wet mass that was my hair. I ended up ripping hair out, so I stopped before I became bald. I put some sort of cream in my hair, and somehow ended up with untangled hair. Someone knocked on the door.

"Addie? We're going out to the Mexican place tonight. You coming?"

"Yeah I'll go. Gimme a minute." I yawned again, and went to get into clothes suitable for going out.

I opened the door and walked out, only to bump into Mark.
"Oh, sorry." I said, not looking at him.

"It's fine. You okay?" He asked, touching my arm gingerly. I pulled away instantly.

"I'm peachy." I remarked, walking back to the room. I knew that I was being salty and that would confuse him, but he could get over it.

Only two more days left with Mark.
