Addie's POV

I felt sunlight shine through my eyelids. I pulled my eyelids open to see my arm draped across Mark's bare chest. The memories of lastnight flooded my head, and I smiled. I just went to my car after I stormed out, and I saw him leave. I made a quick decision to follow his rental car as I saw he was heading towards the hotel. It was hands down the best decision I've made in a long, long time. I shook Mark awake, and he opened his eyes slowly. He grunted and sat up, scratching the back of his head.

"What?" He complained with sleep in his voice.

"I want a round two." I said, getting on top. His eyes popped open in realization and he was definitely awake now. I went to kiss him gently, which quickly turned into a heated make out session. Everything got so dirty so fast, but we used the last condom he had last night, so we couldn't have sex. We found other ways to make time go by faster, and boy was it fun. When it was over, Mark pounced up in realization.

"What time is it?" He asked, getting out of bed.

"7:30. Why?" I replied, sitting up.

"I'm leaving today at 1. That's why I tried not to begin a relationship with you. But now-"

"This is a relationship? I thought we just had a one night stand." I said. His eyes softened and he grabbed my chin.

"All I want is a relationship with you, but I'm leaving." He said, then slowly kissed me.

I broke the kiss, and stared into his eyes. "I know, and Wade is going to murder you." I whispered.

"Shit, that's right. How many texts did he send you?" I unlocked my phone and checked my messages.

"64. Mainly consisting of 'where are you' and 'are you with Mark?'." I said.

"Let's get back to Wade's and we can sort this out."
And the tone of his voice sounded like he was convincing himself, not me.

We checked out of the hotel, and headed into our cars. I drove home first, and he would show up later on. Wade would still figure it out, and he will probably punch Mark in the jaw. I pulled into the driveway, and Wade was already outside on the front stoop. I had barely even opened my door, and he already charged towards me. "Where the fuck have you been?" He boomed, his eyes searching mine for an answer.

"I was out." I simply stated, shrugging as I tried to push through him.

"You were with Mark, weren't you?" He asked, growing angrier.

"No, I was just out." I lied, not meeting his eyes. He let me go past him, and I went inside. I was going to leave today, just like Mark. I had to go back to my apartment to pack and get ready to move to Pasadena.

But right now, I have to try to dodge as many bullets as I can.

"You guys have a lot of explaining to do. It's been this way since we were kids. I see the way you look at each other."
