Mark's POV
"Chica! Get back here!" I screamed, running down the road. Addie was sprinting ahead of me, only feet behind her. We were hanging out in my house, eating pizza, when Chica saw a squirrel outside. The window was open, and that was that. She ran, fast. She never ran away, she was the most obedient dog ever. My lungs burned, but I couldn't let anything happen to Chica. Addie was so close to her, her fingers grazing her collar. She snatched the collar, her fingers slipping under the material. Finally, I caught up to them. I clipped the leash to her as Addie sat down on the sidewalk.

"The squirrel wasn't worth it." She sputtered. Panting, Chica licked my fingers. I glared down at her, pissed at what she did.

"C'mon, let's walk home." I said, reaching my hand out. She took it and I hoisted her up.

"She never does this." I said, gripping the leash tighter.

"If she keeps acting up, bring her to the vet." Addie said, her hand slipping into mine. I nodded and continued walking. My fans didn't know we were dating, and if it did get out I wouldn't deny it. This is one of those things that I won't talk about unless it's brought up. Wade has finally shut the hell up about us dating, it's been almost a month since we were staying with him.

Chica had been acting out, like pooping in the house and such. I might take her to the vet if things get worse, but I have no clue what it is. Addie looked at me, her smile peeking at the corners of her mouth.

"She'll be fine." She said, squeezing my hand. I hoped so. When we got home, Matt and Ryan looked frantic.

"Thank god!" Ryan yelled. "We thought we would have to print out lost dog posters"

"Not today. But, who knows if she might try to run away again. She's worrying me." I said, un-clipping her leash. Chica trotted upstairs into my room as I walked over to hang up her leash. Addie looked less worried than me but still bothered. Matt and Ryan eventually left the room to go record, and it dawned on me that I had to do a video. Addie understood, she's good like this. It's my job to entertain people, and if I can't churn out videos to do that job, I don't make money. She stayed down stairs while I trudged up the stairs. I walked into my room and plopped down into my chair, which creaked under my weight. I scrolled through Twitter and saw a shit ton of requests for a game called Sophie's Curse. I shrugged and went to steam, finding it and buying it. As I was setting up the game, I heard Chica stir from across the room. I ignored it and started the recording session. Before I even began playing the game, I tried to explain why I was late on recording this video.

"So, Chica got out this morning. Addie and I were running after her, and finally she caught up to her. Chica's just been acting strange recently." I said, looking over at her on her bed. Her eyes were rolled back and her tongue was out, signifying she was out cold. "But, she's fine and if anything else weird happens I'll take her to the vet. Anyways, let's go." I played for about a half an hour, and Chica kept coming up to me from under the desk. I was being a completely candy ass since the gameplay is terrifying. Eventually, I felt her warm tongue on my leg. I smiled at her attempt to distract me from the horrors on the screen in front of me. I yawned, getting bored as I was waiting for something to happen. I clicked around on the screen, and then that bitch's face popped up and screeched at me. I let out an inhuman scream and flipped absolute shit. Chica trotted over and licked my leg some more. I laughed and ended the video there, as I still had to edit this video.

I got up, ready to take a break and to stretch my legs. I quickly rushed down the steps, eager to see what Addie had been doing the past hour. As I reached the last step, I quickly realized she was nowhere to be seen. My brow creased in thought, where could she be? A small post-it note caught my eye in the kitchen. I walked over to it and plucked it up off of the counter.

Went to get groceries, I'll be back at around 4:30.
-Addie

I shrugged, but then I noticed why she went to the store. We had almost no food in this house. Matt and Ryan were somewhere in the house, but we always end up going our separate ways during the day. Lego and Chica growled at each other as they play fought. I smirked at the two who were snapping and running around. These dogs don't feel like dogs, more like children. Lego would be the one that would cry all the time, but Chica is such a good girl that she'd be the sweetest kid ever. I grabbed a glass of water and walked back upstairs, ready to edit and upload this video.

Addie's POV
I walked through the aisles, plucking various  things off the shelves. I got some cereal, then tossed it into the cart. Mark's house has no groceries, so I have to be nice and get him some. I got the necessities first: milk, toilet paper, eggs, cheese, bread, paper towels, and old spice since I like how it smells. I had a full cart, but who cares; I have a job now. I threw all that shit in the cart and wheeled it over to checkout. I sat impatiently as an annoying mother checked out snacks and shit for her kids. The haircut she had was the soccer mom bitch haircut, the one that always wants to see the manager. Her kids were running around screaming, and I wanted to scream too. Eventually, Mrs. Soccer Mom Bitch finished checking out her fruit gushers and Cheeze-it to go packs and I got to load my stuff on the conveyor belt. The guy scanned and scanned, until everything was all bagged up. I paid the $107.86 and got the hell out of there before more children and mothers could ruin my day. I'm pretty sure my period is coming soon, because everything is making me want to slap someone today. I threw everything into the trunk and started my way home.

I put on the radio and got out of the parking lot. Immediately, Ed Sheeran's "Don't" blasted into my ears. How old is this song anyways? Eh, I don't care, I know every word. Next thing I knew, I was at a stop light screaming the chorus. The light turned green, and I went for it. Suddenly, I saw a car to my right. I tried so hard to get to the other side of the street in time, but we collided too fast. I heard the glass shatter and metal crunch, but then darkness consumed me.
