I was excited to get to school that morning. I was ready to see Nolen.
"Aye, what's up y'all," I said as I stood with the group of guys on the team.
"Nothing," Colton said.
Everyone else was quiet.
"What's wrong," I asked.
"What's this man," Jordan asked, taking his phone out his pocket and showing me a message.
In the message was two pictures and a video.
One of when I was dancing with Nolen, and the other when we were in the kitchen, after one too many drinks and me kissing him.
The video though was the worst thing.
It was at my house, when Nolen and I were in my bed...having sex.
Yea, we had sex, and I didn't tell Nolen cause I was just as drunk as he was, and I didn't want him to be embarrassed.
This is gonna ruin everything.
"Who sent y'all this," I asked.
"Aaron, and he said he's gonna send it to everyone. All this time, you were a gay nigga too, just like Nolen," a dude named Eric chuckled, shaking his head.
Aaron!? How'd he even get the video!? How'd he even take it!?
I curled my hands into fists, "And all this time you was nothing but a bitch nigga who rides the bench all season, shut the fuck up."
Eric's grin faded.
"Look, either you stop hanging out with him and doing this, or your life is pretty much over bruh. You know Aaron spiteful as hell," Jordan said.
I looked at him, quiet.
Everyone else walked away.
Colton stayed behind.
"Look man, I know that if that gets out, there will be bad things to come your way. Your whole facade that you built up will be ruined, but, at the end of the day, you'll feel free cause you're not hiding it anymore. Trust me I know bruh," Colton said, patting my shoulder.
"I can't let that stuff get sent out, I can't," I said, shaking my head.
"Well why not," Colton asked.
"Cause it could my whole damn life. It could ruin Nolen's life. My family doesn't even fucking know that I'm gay," I yelled.
"Look man, calm down. I know one thing though," Colton said staring off in the distance.
I turned to see what he was looking at and saw Nolen walking with the girl he's usually with.
"Don't break his heart," Colton said, turning and walking away.
I sighed.
"Aye, let me talk to you a minute," said a voice from a black car.
I turned and it was Aaron pulling up into the parking lot.
I shook my head.
At this point, I had no choice but to do everything he said.
"What," I asked as I walked to the car.
"Get in," he said.
I did.
He rolled up his deeply tinted windows and pulled out of the parking lot of the school.
