Cousin Ray in the media

Jacob

I could feel myself on top of him, punching him, watching him block my hits.

I felt him roll on top of me and hit me back then he stood, and I felt the kicks to my side and stomach.

"What's your problem!? You forgot who the hell I am," Ray snarled, kicking me again.

Pain shot through my ribs and back.

"Aaahhh," I groaned.

His large hands gripped the front of my t-shirt.

"Now you're gonna welcome me right," he growled.

I swirled my tongue around my mouth before I opened it and spit in his face.

"Bastard," Ray shouted, hitting my head against the floor.

"Oh my goodness, what are you doing!?"

My mother scurried towards us, her heels clacking the tile floor.

My shirt was still fisted in Ray's hands while I held on to him by his wrists.

He dropped me, letting me hit the floor.

"Nothing, Aunt Lia," Ray said, smiling at her, "just play fighting got too rough."

Ray's face was red with handprints, while I could feel my lip throbbing.

Running my tongue over it, I could feel it was busted and a little lump was forming on it.

"Jacob, are you okay," my mama asked, helping me up.

"Yes ma'am," I replied, looking over at Ray.

He stared at me, a mischievous look in his eyes.

"Just a little play fight gone wrong, like he said," I mumbled.

"Well y'all better stop it, and Ray if you put your hands on my baby like that again, I'll whip yo' monkey ass," my mama scolded, pointing her finger at him.

"Yes ma'am, Aunt Lia," Ray replied.

"Ok, now follow me so I can show you to your room. Jacob, grab his bags," my mama ordered, walking up the staircase with Ray following behind her.

I rolled my eyes and carried the bags like some damn butler.

My mama stopped at a room right across from mine and flung open the door.

Ray stepped inside.

"This is where you'll be staying Rayman. I'm so glad you could be with us, and I'm sure you're excited too since the last time you saw Jacob was a couple years ago."

"Yes ma'am," Ray smirked, glancing at me swiftly.

I glared at him, hoping my stare would melt his grimy ass through the floor.

"Well, I'll let you get settled. Dinner will be ready in a few minutes."

My mama clicked away to the kitchen, leaving Ray and I alone.

I tossed his bags into the room, not stepping one foot inside.

"Aww, don't be like that. It happened two years ago. Let it go. It's not like you didn't like it," Ray chuckled, shaking his head.

"You think I liked it? You think I enjoyed crying and screaming, and squirming while you ravaged me!? You're sick," I hissed in a low whisper.

"Mmm, still the same cute, feisty Jacob I know, but know this," Ray said, grabbing my chin and leaning to whisper in my ear, "we're gonna be real close before I leave again. And this belongs to me."
