Chapter 1: we are here

"THOMAS!" Minho shouts

My eyes open quickly, adjusting to where I am.

"Wha... Where are we?" I whine

"Come on you shank! Hurry, we have to go!"

I jump of the helicopter. Sand blows in my eyes, I hear guns shots and screaming. "Where am I?" I think to myself.

I look past a guard and see Newt and Frypan. There's someone missing. THERESA!

"THERESA?" I shout

I stumble looking around me. She's no where to be seen. I run back to the helicopter, but as I do I see something unimaginable! "Zombies? How? Where?" I say to myself. They are coming from everywhere. I see a shadow, thinking its Theresa. As I get closer I hear awful sounds. The shadow gets closer and closer.

"Theresa, is that you?"

No response

"Theresa, please answer!"

Suddenly, the shadow, now inches away, jumps onto me. Trying to bite and scratch me. This is it I think, this is...... BANG!

I jump up and turn around. Standing there is a guard.

"C'mon kid! Hurry!" He says, as he points me towards the door.

As I past the helicopter, I see Teresa, lying in there. I run into it and grab her. She is sleeping and looks lifeless.

I shake her, "Teresa wake up!"

She slowly opens her eyes and jumps, "Hey, hey, hey. It's me, Thomas."

"Tom? What's going on?"

I look into her scared eyes, "I'm not-

A "zombie" starts climbing into the helicopter. And reached for Teresa.

"TOM!!" She screams, holding me tightly.

I grab a stick that was in Minho's bag. As it held Teresa's leg, I start smacking it on the face. After smacking it for a couple seconds, it losses it's grip and falls.

"C'mon we have to go!" I say to Teresa, as I pull her arm towards the building. She doesn't say anything, just follows the direction I'm pulling her.

We catch up with the others and we enter the building. BEEP BEEP BEEP. I turn around and see the giant yellow walls start to close. Teresa moves closer to me as we start to look around the building.
