Chapter 7: lets go!

As we walked back from the cafeteria. They pushed us into our rooms. I walked over to the vent and told the boys to follow me. Aris joined us. We all jumped out of the vents and went into a locked room. We walked in and saw bodies everywhere!

"Teresa?" I asked and walked over to her

I lifted her hair and it was not her.

"Thank god.." I said softly

"That's Rachel." Aris said

"Sorry shank." Minho said

"We were in the maze together. She was the first to go. I told her everything was going to be okay." He claimed

"We should look for Teresa in here." Newt said

"Yes just in ca-"

The doors opened and Rat Man came in. We all hid behind a wall. A futuristic video chat appeared.

"Hello." He said

"Hello Janson!" Said the voice of a woman

I turned to see who it was. There she was all dressed in white. Ava. Dr Ava Paige! I thought she died!

"Who is it Tommy?" Newt asked

"It's her! She's alive!"

"Teresa?" Frypan questioned

"No. Ava Paige! The woman who put us in the maze!"

"Wha-"

I put my hand over Minho's mouth. I listen into they're conversation.

"Janson." She said

"Yes?"

"I don't want Teresa to feel any pain." She said softly

"That will be difficult. WE ARE TAKING HER BRAIN OUT! We need to find a cure!" He screamed

"I don't care! She shall feel no pain."

"How will I do that?"

"Use Thomas against her to make her want to do it. Make Thomas hurt her. Then, she will want to die!"

"Will do. Goodbye Dr." Janson said, turning the screen off.

"What? Why would they do that?" Fry pan asks

"I'm not sure! We have to go!" I say

Janson leaves. We start running to the vent. We climb out of it and try to find an escape route.

"This way!" Minho says, pointing towards a door

"No! We have to get Teresa!" I scream

"Slinthead! We don't have time." Minho yelled back

"We can't leave her! She's going to die!"

"Ok fine! Let's go!" He says

We start running down a hall but we run into a doctor.

"Where is she?!?" I scream

"Who?" She asks

"Teresa! Where is she!"

"I-I-I don't know."

"Minho take her." I said as Minho takes her and puts her hands behind her back.

"Ok ok! Follow me!" She says

We follow her until a guard starts to shoot at us. Minho starts running towards the guard.

"Minho!" We shout

Minho knees the guard in the stomach and he falls. We take the gun and continue. She leads us to the office. I push her forward to face the other doctors.

"Where is she?!" I ask pointing the gun towards them. They all step back and put their hands up.

I see the curtains from earlier and hand Minho the gun. I whip open the curtains and see Teresa. She's lying on the bed asleep. I rush over to her.

As I shake her I say, "Teresa! What did they do to you?"

She flutters her eyes open, "Thomas?"
