“What happened?” I asked Sarah.

“I believe you! Everything you said I believe!” Sarah said yelling at me.

It was the middle of the day and everyone was outside leaving to go home. There were way to many people for her to be yelling at me and making herself look crazy. I quickly grabbed her by the shirt and dragged her behind a nearby tree.

“Shut up and tell me exactly what happened!” I yelled at her.

“When you left me in the bathroom, your sister came in”

“Shit you didn’t tell he anything did you?”

“I told her everything you told me, to see if she thought the same thing”

“And?”

“She laughed at be and walked to the mirror and said Bloody Mary three times!”

“Were you looking at the mirror Sarah?

Sarah looked around nervously.

“Sarah were you looking at the mirror when she said it?” I yelled impatiently.

Sarah nodded her head. “She’s everywhere I go, I have to get out of here!”

“Okay close your eyes and don’t open them”

“I can’t keep my eyes closed for ever!”

I understood what she meant, this wasn’t going to end well and I knew it. Sarah couldn’t even keep her eyes closed before her surprise birthday party and she ruined it for herself.

“Well now you have to keep them closed, unless you want to die!”

“I don’t want to die” Sarah replied

“I’m going to take you home okay, and when we get there your going to sit on your bed and still not open your eyes. Understood?”

“Okay I understand”

I started walking with Sarah to her house, guiding her so that she didn’t trip over the uneven ground in front of her. I was a five minute walk from school, but god only knows if she could keep her eyes shut for that long.

“Am I going to make it through this?” Sarah asked.

“I really hope so!”

We finally got to her house and Sarah gave me the keys to open the door. Sarah only lived with her dad sp she had to do all of the cleaning and he cooking just like I did. There were cloths all up the stairs and guiding her was harder than I thought. Sarah ended up falling up the stairs and almost opening her eyes. She started to cry.

“I can’t do this!” She yelled.

“Yes you can!”

“I can’t, I need to open my eyes!”

“No you don’t! You walk up these stairs every day when you come home!”

“But I need to see where I’m going!”

“No you don’t!”

“Let me open my eyes just so I don’t trip again!”

“Don’t you dare, if you do I will knock you out just so you can’t open your eyes.”

Sarah stopped complaining and walked up the stairs with her eyes closed tightly shut. I opened her bedroom door and sat her on the bed.

“Can I open my eyes now?”

“No anything that you can see your refection in, she will be there, that’s the only way that she can get to you, so don’t open your eyes until I tell you too!”

“Okay” She replied.

“I’m being serious Sarah”

“Yes I know you are!”

I could tell in her voice that she was completely freaking out. I quickly went and grabbed her cloths and placed them over all of the reflective surfaces, the TV the mirrors and even the small things like the clock. Everything was gone in her room. I went downstairs and grabbed as many books from the bookshelf that I could. The books were going to be her only entertainment while she waited.

“You can open your eyes now” I said hoping that I had gotten everything.

“Thank god”

“You do know that you can’t leave the room now?”

“I can’t live in this room forever!” She yelled at me and walked over to her bright pink door and opened it.

I jumped in front of her and closed the door.

“You’re not leaving! You will die!”

“Fine, but by tomorrow morning, I’m walking out of this room!”

I nodded as I realized that I couldn’t stay in the room with her so I could be there to stop her. I would be trying to find a way to stop Mary from killing Sarah. I closed her bedroom door as I left and walked out of the house. It was time to do some hard core researching. The only problem was that I didn’t know where to start looking. I ran to the library and started searching through the books again.

I had looked in every book that I could find in the library and they all say the same thing. The Mary could only be killed in the mirror that she was entrapped in. She died in front of a mirror her soul got trapped and now I have to find the mirror she died in front of, I started to think about Sarah and the fact that it wasn’t her fault that she was in the car with Megan and she hadn’t killed anyone, she couldn’t stop the car.

What was Mary’s motive? My dad killed my mum, and he never told anyone, Megan and Sarah killed the boy and never told anyone. They were all keeping a secret about how they had killed someone. Or just even seen someone die. Somehow I needed to find the mirror and them summon Mary to it. I realized the night wasn’t over. I walked over the librarians and she started at me.

“Can I borrow this book?” I asked politely.

“I’m sorry but those are not allowed to be borrowed.”

“Please only for the night?”

“No!” She said in a very angry and sleepy tone.

I knew it was a long shot but now I had only a few hours left to find the mirror and save Sarah before she walked out of her room. I ran home and started researching hoping that I could find where this mirror was.
