*continued*
"Lilly is Abbey." Josh chuckled. I saw the boys take their hands off of him and look at me. "Come on guys, you can't believe him, he's drunk." Trish said to them. The boys shrugged as they looked at each other in reassurance. "Prove it." Niall said, grabbing Josh by his shirt collar. I was hoping Josh was too drunk to say anything. "Go upstairs to room 302. In exactly 3 minutes, she should be on air. If Abbey never returns to be on air, there's your proof." said Josh. The boys made a wild dash for the elevator, punching the buttons as if the were a pinata. When the doors opened, they stepped in and went up. I turned back to look at Josh. He swayed back and forth, and then fell on the ground. The sight was pitiful.
"How could you?" I asked, walking over to the figure on the ground and bending over. My hand slammed against his face. I felt two arms around me as Trish yanked me back. "Lilly come on! We've got to go, we can deal with this later!" She said, dragging me to the elevator. She pushed the button. "Dammit this is going to take too long. Take the stairs." Trish cursed under her breath. We ran up the stairs to the third floor and opened the door. One minute left. We peered around the corner of the stairs and saw the boys fidgeting with the door. "It won't open..." Harry said. "Harry, move." Louis ordered. He pushed the handle down and the door opened.
"Hey! I was just kidding Lou." Harry said, crossing his arms. Louis only rolled his eyes. "Guys, isn't this the room from before? And Lilly's friend, that was the girl...." Zayn started. "Boys, I don't think we should be doing this." Liam said. We walked around the corner and stood in the doorway. Trish walked in the room while I stayed at the doorway. On the desk laid the laptop wide open. The songs had just ended. "Abbey is supposed to be on now." Niall said, checking the watch on his wrist. He pulled out his phone and earplugs and tried listening. "Anything Niall?" Louis asked. He shook his head,"Nothing."
It was too late. The boys stared at me. Louis started opening his mouth when Trish started speaking. "I am Abbey." she said. I looked at Trish in shock. This was all too much. I couldn't let her take on the blame since she's done so much for me already. This wasn't her fault, it was mine. "Trish." I said. She turned back to look at me, a look of worry. I took a small step forward and sighed,"Okay guys. I am Abbey. Josh was right." I said. Louis crossed his arms,"So which one is it Lilly? Dammit, which one of you is Abbey?" he asked impatiently. "Me." I said, looking down. "Why didn't you tell us before?" Niall asked, a look of hurt spread on his face.
All of the boys stood frozen. "I can't take this anymore. Come on guys, lets go." The irish boy said. The air was tense as they walked past me and out of the door. "You guys-" I started walking after them. All of them continued walking as Louis stopped in his tracks, turning around. "You hurt us enough. What other kinds of secrets have you been keeping from us Lilly?!" he practically yelled at me.His words hit me like lightning, making me stand there speechless. "That's what I thought." he said, and turned around to continue walking. My feet felt heavy like they were glued to the ground.
Louis was right. I had kept so much from them. I didn't want them to know some things, but why was I such an idiot to tell Josh who I had only known for five years? Yes five years was a pretty good time but what was the real reason I told him out of all people? Was it that I was head over heels for him? Or was it the fact that I grew up unable to tell anyone how I felt and I just had to tell someone, and Josh was the first one to appear? Either way, I ended up trusting the wrong one, and too bad I hadn't seen that until now. "Lilly, you were supposed to be on air five minutes ago." Trish whispered. I could tell she was still in shock over everything, as was I. I walked back into the room and put my head phones on and turned the mic on.
"Sorry guys for the delay. There's a change in plans. Tune in next week on London 105.1." I said softly. Each word cracked as my throat stung from holding in my tears. A small tear slipped from my eye, as I knew that I just made a bad mistake.
