The boys and I swam for a while. "So Lilly, are you going to the studio with us tomorrow?" Harry asked. I got out of the pool and grabbed a towel. "No, tomorrow's Monday. I have school." I said. The boys frowned. "C'mon, can't you miss one day?" Louis asked jokingly. I raised one eyebrow and smirked. The boys climbed out of the pool. I threw each one towels. I heard Simon's voice over the intercom. "Lilly, Demi's on the phone!" his voice echoed. I raced out of the room, completely forgetting about the boys. I stopped and stepped back and poked my head through the door. "Do whatever you guys want. Dinner's at six." I said fast and rushed towards the kitchen.
"Thanks Si!" I said, grabbing my phone and running upstairs to my room. I closed the door and locked it.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Lilly!" Demi exclaimed.
We talked for a long time and I told her everything, from meeting the boys to the terrible "date" with Josh. After I finished talking there was a long silence.
"How could he do that?!" She asked.
"I don't know. At least he goes to another high school, and I won't see him until Saturday. But it'll still be awkward. The boys have to work at the studio tomorrow and hopefully they clock out before he clocks in."
"Definitely."
Silence filled the phone. "So...do you like any of the guys?"
"Demi!"
"Hey, it was just a question." She said, defending herself.
"I don't know. No."
"So tomorrow's Monday, which means school. Did you tell Simon about the bullies?"
"No, and I wasn't going to."
"Lilly, it's not going to help you. It's unhealthy."
I sighed. "I know."
"Well I got to go, its been pretty busy with the tour and everything. Call me if you need anything. Stay strong girly. Bye!"
"Bye." I hung up the phone and put it down. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 5:05. I told the boys dinner was at six. I went downstairs to the kitchen. I honestly didn't feel like cooking, so I grabbed a phone book. I called in Chinese and pulled out money that Simon always kept for ordering out. The food came around 5:50. I ordered noodles and chicken, and the size the food was would fill everyone up. I laid the food out on the kitchen island, like a buffet. "Boys, dinner!" I said on the intercom. I heard footsteps, and seconds later I saw all of the boys faces in the doorway. "Who's hungry?" I asked. They raced toward the island and grabbed their food, everyone filling up their stomach.
*later that night*
I finished brushing my teeth and walked out into the hall. "Goodnight boys!" I said. "Goodnight Lilly!" they said in unison, coming from their own rooms. I walked to my room and laid down on my bed. It was a long day and I was pretty tired. I looked at the ceiling and I could feel my eyelids getting heavier.
I saw them, the bullies, and my father was among them. They threw things at me and laughed. "Stop!" I screamed, covering my face. They surrounded me on all sides, their laughter filling my ears. "Lilly!" they all chanted. How did they know my name. "Lilly!" they said again, and I felt myself shake. The voice sounded familiar. I opened my eyes to see Simon leaning over me. He let out a sigh of relief. I sat up and saw all five boys behind him. I closed my eyes and covered my face with my hands. "I'm so sorry." I muttered. "Its okay. Are you okay?" Simon asked. I nodded my head. Simon got up and I laid back down. I rolled over on my side. I saw Louis whisper something to Simon. Simon made a weird face but nodded his head. He walked out, with the rest of the boys, all except Louis. He came over and sat down on my bed.
"I'm sorry Lou." I said. He looked down at me. "Its okay Lilly, it was only a nightmare." he said. 'If only he knew.' I thought. "Want me to sing you a song?" Louis asked. I nodded my head. He ran his fingers through my hair and began singing. "Hey there Delilah, what's it like in New York City?" he continued. "Oh, its what you do to me." I felt drowsiness sweep over me, and I closed my eyes again.
