"What do we do?" I asked walking quickly over to the car. I've never been in a situation like this. On the bright side, it's Lucas's car and not mine. What am I saying? I don't even have a car so I wouldn't know how bad this is.
I can't even drive. I stop at the driver door and Lucas has a very annoyed look.

"We need someone to tow us. Do you have any friends with a car?" He asks as I shake my head. My only friends are him, Maya, and somewhat Dylan. I would never tell Lucas that though. I've never had many friends since Lucas began bullying me. Lucas quickly pulls out his phone and begins calling someone.

"Hey. My car battery died and I was wondering if you could come to lane river and tow my car?" He asks and then mutters okay after a few seconds. He hangs up the phone and glances at me furrowing his eyebrows.

"Who was that?" I question as Lucas steps back out of the car.

"Just one of my buddies. They'll be here soon." He replies as I nod.

A car quickly pulls in next to Lucas's, and steps out a tall woman. I can smell her perfume and instantly recognize it. Steph. She walks over to us as I glance to Lucas, and notice him staring at her. Before thinking about it, my elbow flys and nudges his arm making him wince.

"Hey Lucas! Other one.. Looks like you two need some help?" She says loudly In her deathly annoying tone of voice. Why would he call her? He knows other people with cars. What about his friend Farkle? Could've called him! My mood drops from entirely happy to angry as hell.

I give Steph a sarcastic smile as she stands directly in front of us. Lucas walks over to connect the car on the hitch, or something like that. I cross my arms and stand in place as Steph looks me up and down.

"You never dried off from the little prank did you?" Steph says with a smirk. How amazing of her to remind me of that great moment for me.

"Actually, I was just swimming with my boyfriend. If your really that interested in my life." I fire back with a glare. Steph rolls her eyes as we both walk over to Lucas who seems to be finished.

"Ready?" Steph asks as Lucas nods. She walks Over to her car and climbs in the driver seat. She owns a sleek, expensive, undamaged black car. I'm not sure what kind, but it appears to have three rows of leather seats. I climb into the middle row as I see Lucas opening the passenger door.

I throw my arms up in disbelief when he glances at me, realizing he should be sitting next to me. He then climbs into the middle row next to my instead, loudly shutting the car door.

As we pull onto campus, Lucas and I step out of the car as Lucas thanks Steph for the ride. He leaves his car alone so I'm guessing he'll deal with it later. Our whole walk to the dorm is silent, until we finally arrive and shut the door behind ourselves.

"Can't believe you did that." I say under my breath as I go change into sweats. I never change in front of Lucas, but honestly I'm too mad to care.

"I didn't do anything?" Lucas replies rudely. He has to be kidding me. He brought someone I hate back into my life, and why does he even have her number?

"You called Steph out of everyone! You could've called anyone yet you had to fucking call that slut!" I yell. He looks stunned as if he didn't know I had it in me.

"Oh sunshine, are you jealous?" Lucas says with a cocky smirk. The sarcasm in his tone rises. Who cares if I am jealous? I'm your girlfriend I'm allowed to be!

"Why do you have her number? Why are you even talking to her if you know I hate her" i yell flailing my arms in the air. I probably look crazy.

"She's my ex! That's why I have her fucking number!" Lucas yells back. He turns and walks to sit on his bed as I stand shocked.

They're exes? That's why they were hooking up that day? Does he want her back or vise versa? I finally get Lucas and another girl wants him.

"What if I don't want you talking to her?" I say calmly walking to Lucas's bed. I stand in front of him instead of sitting down. If I sit, I feel like he's superior.

"She's my friend and you don't get to choose who I'm friends with." Lucas snaps back loudly again, standing up. He's now so close I can feel his body heat, as he looks in my eyes.

"A relationship is partnership. It takes two people equally. If I can't talk to Dylan, you can't talk to Steph." I say back calmly shaking. He doesn't move an inch because if he did, we'd be body to body close.

"It's different Riley." He says in a deep angered voice.
