Dean had convinced Cas to come out of the house and go out to get his mind off of everything.
"Where are we going?" Cas asked Dean as he looked out the window.
"Thought I'd take it back to the good ol' days when people went to mini golf and pizza on a date" Dean said looking over at Cas, a smile etched onto Cas' face, Dean smiled and grabbed his hand, Cas squeezed his hand and Dean smiled again.
"I love you" Cas said looking over at Dean.
"I love you too" Dean said smiling softly over at Cas, Cas smiled and kissed his lips softly, Dean smiled kissing back softly and then pulled away to look out the windshield.
Cas smiled and looked out his window, Dean parks at the mini golf course and they both get out.
They walked to the front and Dean paid and they got their small clubs and went to the first course, they both won that one, then the next, and the next, and the next, on the last one was about to propose when Dean dropped to one knee and pulled a box from his pocket, Cas covered his mouth.
"Cas... I love you.. so much, this sounds creepy but I've watched you grow Cas, I watched you grow up from a little kid who needed a night light and a bed time story in order to sleep to this... beautiful, independent, smart, funny, perfect, adorable, incredibly sexy... person. I know you're sad Cas, I'm sad too, but we can get through it... will you marry me?" Dean said, opening the small velvet box to reveal a beautiful ring.

Cas got down slowly on his knees and hugged Dean tightly, smiling into his neck.
"Yes. I'll marry you Dean" he said, Dean smiled widely and pulled away long enough to kiss him, Cas giggled and kissed back smiling happily.
Dean smiled and lifted them up and spun Cas, Cas giggled holding Dean close.
"I love you so much" Dean whispered, Cas smiled.
"I love you too" he whispered back, Dean smiled and put him down, Cas smiled and watched as Dean slid the ring on his finger.
"Its beautiful" he said softly, Dean smiled.
"Like you" Dean said, Cas blushed and smiled.
He hugged Dean tightly and Dean hugged him back.
"Come on let's go" Dean said and guided Cas to the Impala, when they got in Dean drove to town, they went to a diner, ate pizza cause everyone loves pizza, and then walked around town hand-in-hand, they came across a pet store.
"Dean! Can we go in! please?!" Cas asked excitedly as he stared at the cute puppies in the window, Dean chuckled.
"Of course love" he said and they walked in and looked around, at some point Cas wandered off into the cat section.
"DEAN!" Cas squealed, Dean ran to Cas' voice.
"What?!" He asked worried, Cas grabbed Dean's hand and dragged him to the kittens he was looking at.
"Oh look at how adorable they are" Cas said smiling and rubbing a small white Persian kitten, Dean chuckled softly and looked in.
"They are cute" he said, Cas smiled.
"Can I get one? Please?" Cas asked, looking up at Dean.
"Cas..." Dean said slowly, looking up at Cas, Cas looked at him pleadingly.
"Please Dean please" Cas begged, Dean sighed.
"Alright I'll buy you one" he said softly, Cas smiled widely and hugged Dean tightly.
"Thank you Dean" he said smiling, Dean smiled and hugged him back.
"You're welcome baby" he said, Cas smiled.
"Alright pick the one you want" Dean said, Cas smiled and pulled away and immediately picked up the smallest one, the one he'd been holding, it had one blue eye and one green one, Dean smiled.
"Come on let's go get some stuff" Dean said and they walked around and got bowls, toys, food, and some more stuff for the kitten.
"Okay let's pay" Dean said, Cas smiled and walked to the front with Dean holding all the stuff and Cas holding the small kitten.
"So you like the runt?" The cashier asked, Cas smiled and nodded.
"We've been hoping she'd find a home eventually" the woman said, Cas smiled and continued playing with the kitten, they paid and then walked back the Impala, when they got in they buckled their seat belts and Cas held the kitten and rubbed her soft fur, Dean smiled over at Cas and then looked forward and started driving back home.
"What are you gonna name her?" Dean asked, Cas looked up and then at the kitten.
"Roxy" Cas said smiling as the kitten nuzzled him, Dean looked over and smiled softly, soon Dean parked at the Novak residence, Cas got out and grabbed a toy out of the trunk considering he couldn't really carry much because of the kitten.
Dean got the stuff and Cas and him walked into the house.
"This is your new home Roxy" Cas said to the kitten, smiling softly, he walked to the living room and looked up, Lucifer, Becky, and a man were sitting on the couch.
"Cas! Hey sweetheart! This is Chuck" Becky said, pointing to the man, Cas looked at the man.
"Uhm... hi?" Cas said, scratching behind the kitten's ear when she meowed.
"Hello" Chuck said, Dean came in and put the stuff down and kissed Cas' cheek, Cas smiled over at him lightly.
"What's up with the kitten?" Lucifer asked.
"He's cute" he added, smiling softly, Cas smiled.
"This is Roxy, Dean bought her for me" Cas said, getting the milk bowl and pouring some milk in it, he put Cece down and she started drinking the milk quickly, Cas smiled a little and rubbed her head before going and sitting on the couch, he shook Chuck's hand.
"Its nice to meet you" Cas said.
"Like wise" Chuck said
"So uh... you're the man who makes mom so happy" Cas said, Chuck nodded, Cas started talking again but Dean came over and handed him a cup of coffee, Cas smiled and took it.
"Thanks baby" he said, Dean smiled and kissed his cheek and sat down with a small sigh and wrapped his arm around Cas.
Cas drank his coffee with a soft hum.
"That's an impressive diamond" Lucifer said with a smirk as he looked at the ring on Cas' finger.
"Hmm?" Cas hummed and then looked at his hand and smiled widely.
"Yeah. Dean proposed" he said,
Dean smiled and kissed his cheek, Cas curled into him, his coffee still in his hands, smiling softly. He started thinking about Zach and of course things just went downhill from there.
