•Three Days Later•

Cas woke up slowly, he sat up and stared at the wall blankly, he hadn't shown emotion since they found out, he got out of bed and got dressed in one of Dean's shirts, sweat pants, and boots, he put his hair in a messy bun and walked downstairs with his phone, ever since they lost the baby Dean has been staying with them to be close to Cas, Dean's family was okay with it.

"Cas... you don't have to go to school" Lucifer said, Dean was eating, he didn't say anything, but he looked up at Cas with a broken look on his face.

"I know" Cas said, he didn't get any food.

"So don't go" Lucifer said.

"I want to" Cas said, Lucifer sighed.

"Cas-" Lucifer started.

"School is going to keep my mind off of it Lucifer leave me alone" Cas said, looking down at his hands, Dean stood up and walked over to Cas, Cas didn't look up, Dean pulled Cas into his chest and rubbed his back.

Cas held Dean, Dean kissed the top of Cas' head but he didn't move his lips from the top of his head.

Cas pulled away from Dean a little, Dean kissed his lips softly for a second and pulled away, Cas looked at him sadly, Dean rubbed his cheek.

"I love you" he whispered, Cas smiled numbly, sadly, and weakly.

"I love you too" he said weakly, his voice a little hoarse, Dean smiled sadly, they were broken and nothing could fix them, they lost their first baby before he/she was born.

Cas remembered hearing the baby's heartbeat for the first time.

•Magic Flashback Ripple•

Cas and Dean walked into the doctor's office for their appointment.

"Dean Winchester and Castiel Novak, we have an appointment" Dean said, the receptionist nodded and types a few things in.

"Take a seat the doctor will be right out" she said, offering a smile, Dean and Cas smile and nod and sit down and wait for the doctor, looking at a couple magazines.

"Castiel and Dean" a woman in a white coat said, Cas and Dean stand and follow her to a room, they go in.
