I know, I know. I had made up my mind so quickly. But I knew that I would end up going with him anyway.

It had been months since I had decided. I was at his apartment, helping him pack boxes. I went into his closet. I pulled out a box. I opened it. It was a bunch if songs that he had written.

I pulled one out.

"Your the kind of person I remember seeing before. Your pretty face is one that ill always adore...."

I read the whole thing and it was so sweet.

He walked in. "Charlie, how come you never recorded this?" I said handing him it.

He looked at it. "It's junk".

"Charles, how on earth is it junk? It's beautiful."

His eyes looked sad. He sat down next to me.

I hugged him. He sighed," It wasn't written about you".

I lifted up his head. "Charlie, that shouldn't stop you. I mean, sure. It would be awesome if it was about me, but it's still beautiful. I think you should record it".

He kissed my cheek." But the rest are".

We went through the whole box together. He explained how all of them were about me. He was so sweet. One I grabbed but he grabbed it out of my hand.

"Charlie, what the heck?"

"That one isn't so good".

I laughed," Is it about me?"

He nodded. I shook my head but continued looking through it. Some of the ones in here, he had already recorded.

After we were done, I couldn't help myself. "Charlie, who was the song about?"

He looked into my eyes. He sighed," Jessica".

"You really did love her. That's why you let her kiss you on the cheek."

He nodded.

"What happened?"

He looked at me with tear filled eyes.

"She... Chose someone else. Her ex".

My heart stopped. That's why he was so hurt when he figured out that I was hanging out with Hayden.

"Im so sorry. I didn't know."

He cried into my shoulder," I was afraid i was going to lose you too."

I ran my fingers through his hair. "I'm so so sorry".

"I'm so sorry I left you". He stuttered.

"That doesn't matter. You're back now."

He buried his face into my shoulder. He struggled to breath.

"I won't leave you ever again".

"I know."

"That's why I needed you to move to LA with me. I couldn't leave you again".

"Charlie, be honest. Do you still love her?"

"Alli, I loved her. But please believe me when I say that I never loved her half as much as you. But no, I couldn't imagine loving anyone else ever again".

I knew that he was telling the absolute truth.

I lifted his face and kissed his cheek.

He laid his head in my lap and cried. I stroked his perfect, soft hair.

...

We were planning a moving party. Every box was packed and we were ready. My parents were coming. They would stay afterwards to meet Charlie.
