Chapter 9

We spent the next week together. It was so fun. We went out on some romantic dates. But others were just fun.

The weekend came and it was time to film the video.

I'm not going to get into detail, but I'm pretty sure this video announced that we were dating to the world. But I had so much fun.

"We're going in for an interview on Tuesday for the song", he said one night. I was reading something and his arm was around me. He was stroking my hair.

"Where?"

"Colorado".

I stopped. "When are we leaving?"

"Don't worry Alli. Well take a plane tomorrow night."

I laughed. "You sure enjoy last minute stuff".

I put down what I was doing and grabbed his hand that was around me. I got a text.

It was from Gigi.

"How's it going? Getting spicy yet?"

I laughed out loud.

"What?" He said smiling.

"Nothing."I said texting her back.

"You know it. ;) JK"

Charlie was still curious.

I looked at him. "It's Gigi."

He laughed." That girl. She hates me".

I laughed,"Are you kidding? She's obsessed still, even though she'd never admit it".

He laughed. "I'm gonna call her", he said grabbing my phone.

I laughed.

"Hey Gigi, this is Charlie."

"Yeah I'm still living".

"Yeah she's fine".

"No. Not at all".

"What? No!"

"Haha. No".

"I won't. I promise".

"Yes I'm sure".

"No I would never do that".

"Not even for five bucks".

"Yeah I do."

"Okay then."

"You know what? I'm not answering that. I don't like where this conversation is heading. Bye Gigi".

He laughed as he hung up the phone. "She's a keeper".

I laughed. "How is she?"

"You know what? I never got to that. I'm assuming she's fine though".

I snuggled up to him. He wrapped his arm tight around me".

The next night, we were in a plane, on our way to Colorado.

Charlie was still a little unsure about planes. He held my hand tight. I kept him talking so his thoughts didn't drift to being afraid.

Eventually we landed and drove to the hotel. I snuggled up close to him. He wrapped his arms around me. I breathed into his neck." I love you".

I could feel him smiling. It made me smile. "I love you too". He said breathing into my shoulder.

I fell asleep quickly. I woke up and he wasn't there. I was a little worried. I looked and the bathrooms door was open and the lights were off.

Before I thought too much, he walked in, carrying a box of donuts.

I started crying. He see down the box and hugged me. "You're so sweet", I said.

We ate in the car. We were at the studio right on time. We quickly seated ourselves and began.

They talked to Charlie for a while before they came to me.

"Miss Simpson".

I snapped back into reality.

"Yeah"

"You were born and raised in Australia. Correct?"

I nodded.

"What was that like?"

I talked about it for a while.

"So Alli, you're 20. Correct?"

I nodded.

"So did you drop out of college or are you still going?"

"Actually, I graduated from college in high school. I wanted to get it out of the way."

We talked for a while and then they started questioning us about our relationship.

"So, guys. There is rumors about you two. I mean, obviously you kissed in your music video, but there is rumors about you guys being together. Is that true?"

"Alli and me", Charlie started," Yeah. We're together."

"So how did you guys meet?"

"We actually recorded a song together."

We talked for a while. Most of the questions had nothing to do with music, but we still answered them all honestly.

After we finished, We started on our way home. We were talking. Randomly, he looked at me. He couldn't take his eyes off of me. I felt a little uncomfortable. "You're so beautiful", he said.

I blushed. "I.... Charlie!" We were out of our lane. I slammed my hand onto his chest. A car swerved but slammed into us. The last thing i remember is Charlie covering me with his body.
