He's a brave young man. He can do it.

Haise reminded himself continuosly as he walked through the noisy hallway of his department. He calmed himself as he adjusted his white neck tie, a sigh escaping from his lips afterwards.

He stopped in his tracks and his gaze fell unto her form. There she was, sitting quietly on her table, reading a few books and novels that she probably bought from a bookstore earlier.

He closed his eyes and breathed. His trembling hands hidden inside the pockets of his pants.

He walked up to her table and his face was already heated at the sight of her. His breath hitched the moment she looked up at him, her [e/c] eyes looking straight to his.

You can do it. He reminded himself once again before speaking, "[N-Name]-chan.."

He mentally hit himself for stuttering. He inhaled heavily before deciding to speak again, regaining his confidence.

"I'm r-really sorry for my p-previous actions towards you. I-I am v-very aware t-that I m-messed up and all.." He paused.

"The t-truth is, I'm r-really shy to talk to you, [Name]-chan. I...I stutter a lot and I end up doing rude things and I p-promise! I was not doing that on purpose!"

She eyed him suspiciously, and she closed her book before giving him her full attention.

"[Name]-chan, I don't usually do this and I don't know how to either b-but.."

His face burned up to the point that it went straight to the color of the darkest red. He stuttered and [Name] just watched in amusement.

"But what?" She finally asked, which resulted in Haise's constant blabbering.

"I really, really l-like you [Name]-chan! I-I've always wanted to tell you this b-but I always end up d-doung stupid things. B-But p-please consider the idea of d-dating me!" He said in a very fast manner, he bowed his head and closed his eyes as he waited for the worst.

And he did get the worst.
