Warning: cliche and very, very cringeworthy.

"Blankets, Soft Pillows and snacks!" He chirped, showing the stuffs he brought to [Name], a huge smiled plastered on his face.

"Wow, you also brought a blindfold with you. Where's the rope?"

Why are you making things sound so awkward. Haise's face turned beet red in embarassment, his face showed infuriation. "[Name]-chan, why do you keep on saying weird things like that?!"

He grabbed the stuffs he brought from the back and timidly put it down the grass floor. "I brought these with us so we can relax since work is obviously stressing us out from all the missions they assign to us."

He pouted as he glares at [Name]. "Not to grant your inappropriate thoughts about me."

Haise laid down the huge blanket and sighed. "It's really relaxing here, isn't it? I feel so calm."

The [h/c] smiled in agreement as she made herself comfortable beside Haise. "Yeah, it makes me feel so sentimental." She sat up, looking at the sky.

"Maybe we should call this place ours. You know, claim it." Haise beamed.

"Yeah, I think I'll come here more often. I really love this place."

The rank 1 investigator sat up and gazed at [Name], his eyes fixed on the [h/c] beauty. "[Name]-chan,"

She hummed in response, eyes still fixed on the night sky.

"I love you."

[Name] suddenly felt her heart beating rapidly; it's as if it's about to come out from her chest. Her eyes grew wider and wider as it met those tantalizing gray ones that has been staring at her for a long time.

"I'm sorry, what?"

Haise felt his heart sunk. Why did he say that in the first place? He doesn't know. It came out of his mouth the moment he saw [Name], and God! He's scared. He's so scared.

His face went redder and redder as he felt his body temperature grow higher each minute. His gaze went everywhere except for [Name]'s intense stare.

He shouldn't have said that. He shouldn't have said that. Those words kept on playing in his mind as he struggle to find the right words to say.

"I... I..." and then he gave up. What's the point of denial, anyway? "I said I love you."

[Name] froze.

A sigh escaped from his lips. I't's now or never. No turning back.  He shut his eyes closed for a while before he shot it open with determination painted all over his face.

He raised his confidence and determination as high as he can and he felt as if he was reborn; he's now a super saiyan--Okay. He can do it without idiotic thoughts. This is all Saiko's fault.

"It's just---I've been admiring you ever since I first saw you. I know it aounds cliche and all but.. I believe it was love at first sight." He fiddled with his fingers nervously as he talk. "S-So I've been trying so hard.. to get to know you. I love you, [Name]. So much."

Tears started to form at the corner of his eyes as he glanced at the said woman. She was showing no hint of emotion.

He sighed in defeat, "I know I'm asking for a huge favor but.. will you please give me a chance?"

Puppy eyes won't work, Haise. "If you give me a chance I'll show you how much I love you over and over and over again! Just please!"

And then silence took over as soon as he finished his confession. "P-Please give me... a c-chance...." he muttered. His shoulders started to shake in the thought of rejection and humiliation. His eyes started to water, and he bit his lip to stop his soft whimpers.

"Haise," she spoke. Ah, prepare yourself from the incoming wave of pain banana man.

Then [Name] grinned. "I'll take that offer."
