"Guess who's back," Zayn belted out, out of nowhere, singing his words as if they were a song you'd hear playing on the radio. I hadn't even realized he was in the same room as me at the moment until he quite nearly scared me to death, jumping out of thin air it seemed like that. He was honestly like a grown up child, it was the worst. (Except, you know, it really wasn't). "And look what I found, too."

"What are you on about, you goof?" I playfully rolled my eyes at him the minute I took in the silly look on his face. He was something else that was for sure.

Zayn waved his left hand in front of my face with the biggest smile dancing on his lips, making me flinch away a bit from the sudden movement. There was a flash of shiny silver just around his fourth finger, and that was when I realized that, hey, he was finally wearing his ring once again. Thank god, it felt like it'd been stuck in that damn drain for years.

He balled his fingers up until they were settled into a fist, holding his hand out to me. I chuckled, doing the same, before knocking my fist into his, our rings making a clinking sound as they gently collided in the middle. "Just like the power rangers," his tongue pushed up against his teeth as he smiled that favorite crinkly eyed smile of mind. It would never get old to me, I swear.

What a geek.

"I never thought I'd be so happy to see a piece of jewelry in my life." And it was true; nothing made me more content than I was right now, now that his wedding band was back.

"Well I'd like to hope so since you were so hung up on it to begin with."

"Of course I was," I pouted. "That's like every wife's worst nightmare seeing her husband not wearing his ring. It was horrible."

"You're so dramatic, Jan," Zayn scoffed a bit underneath his breath. Whatever. "Anyway, back to what I said earlier, look what I found."

Closing the magazine I'd just been sifting through, I slid it away from me, letting Zayn place a little black book into my hands instead. As soon as I got a hold of it, it was like a million memories came rushing back into my mind all at once. My fingers glided across our names embroidered onto the front cover in silver letters as I reminisced the exact moments of that important day.

"Oh god, where was this hiding?" I looked up at Zayn for a moment before turning my attention back to our wedding album that was placed in my hands. I wasted no time getting it open, pushing it between both of our bodies once Zayn took a seat next to me so that we could both get a good look at what was inside.

The first picture was of Zayn and I's hands clasped tight, our wedding rings on full display so that they were the center of attention. It felt like it was just yesterday that this moment took place, and if I could, I would definitely do anything to relive that day as many times as I possibly could. I could honestly say that the day Zayn and I officially got married was one of the greatest days of my life, hands down. The day I told him that we were going to be having a child was easily right up there with that day, too.

"I found it in a box at the back of our closet when I was looking for something. We're literally the worst aren't we?"

"We are," I couldn't help but laugh. I mean, seriously. Who let their own wedding album get shoved into a box and forgotten in the back of a closet? Us, of course. Only we would do such a thing like that. "We're the worst at everything I think. We deserve an award."
