Unexpected love

Chapter 2

  The next day, Killian and Emma went with their schools to meet up at the auditorium. Emma was wearing ripped light blue jeans with a silky white shirt and black heals. Killian was wearing  jeans with a grey shirt and black sneakers.

  They directed their kids where to stand on the stage as they approached each other.

"Killian", Emma said avoiding eye contact with him.

"Emma", Killian said under his breath pretending to clear his throat.

"Alright guys so this years play is going to be Romeo and Juliet", Emma said with a sigh.

"And as you see here, we're going to be merging this year...", Killian said annoyed.

The room was soon filled with groans and people becoming annoyed.

"I know, it will be quite the challenge but we're just going to have to do it.", Emma said with a small smile.

"Well, when you're done with your speech Swan, I'd like to get started on casting", Killian said.

Emma rolled her eyes and took a deep breath trying to regain her patience. "Ok.", she said under her breath.

"We have already chosen our Romeo and Juliet so-"

"Can I have the following student come down?", Killian interrupted.

"Um excuse me, I'd appreciate it if you stopped interrupting me", Emma said looking at Killian with a bit of a death stare.

"Anyways, Stella Blue and Peter Johnson please come get your scripts because you are our Romeo and Juliet", she said as she gave them a quick smile.

After an hour of casting and giving everyone their scripts, it was time to practice the Rome and Juliet kiss to see if the actors had good chemistry.

  "Ok Stella so I'm going to need you to say these lines and have you kiss Peter. Ok?" Emma asked Stella. "Um yea of course", Stella responded. Killian said the same thing to Peter.

The kissing part came and Stella and Peter had given each other the worst kiss ever. They looked super awkward and didn't make it look like their characters were in love at all.

"Woah woah woah woah", Emma stated as she got up from her seat. "What was that?", she asked.

"Um-I-I don't kn-"

"No no that is not gonna fly. Again!", she interrupted.

They then did the scene again and it still looked horrible.

"Oh my freaking..." Emma thought to herself as she put her hands on her face.

"Woah you need to relax.", Killian said.

"Me? Relax? How can I relax with this. You're just sitting there doing nothing!", she yelled.

"What do you mean I'm doing nothing?", he asked starting to get mad.

"I don't see you making any suggestions", she said with attitude.

"Ok well...how do you want them to kiss then?", he asked confused.

"Um I don't know...any other way than how they're kissing now!", she yelled.

"And how may that be!?", he yelled.

Emma quickly pulled Killian in for a deep and passionate kiss. The students watched them and ooo'd. She pulled away and looked at Killian with the shocked and breathless expression on his face.

"Like that.", she stated out of breath. She then walked away to go talk to her students. Killian turned back and touched his lips as he thought about how shocked he was that he actually liked it.
