Killian met up with Milah for their date at a nice restaurant. He thought she was a great person, however, he didn't like anything about her. He thought she was pretty and sweet but she just didn't have Emma like qualities. He still had a thing for Emma, but he knew there was barely ever going to be a chance of them being together. The night ended and he dropped Milah off at her house.
"So...", Killian said.
"Yea there's not going to be a next time is there?",Milah asked
"Uh y-no", Killian said trying to not hurt her feelings. "Sorry"
Milah closed her eyes and nodded. "Yeah well, it was nice meeting you"
"It was nice meeting you too", he said as he awkwardly shook her hand.
They said goodnight to each other and Killian went back home.
.........
Killian went by a coffee place to get him and Emma some coffee on his way to the auditorium. Emma hadn't stopped thinking about Killian going on a date with Milah. It just felt so weird and strange to her. She had just broken up with her boyfriend Walsh about a month before so she didn't know why she was feeling so much jealousy.
"Hey!", Emma said as she quickly got up from her seat when Killian walked into the auditorium. Her mind came up with a million different questions about his date but she knew she would sound way too creepy if she asked them all. "How was the date?", she asked with a little too much interest in her voice. "It was ok I guess...there's not going to be a next time", he said as he handed her some coffee. A wave of relief quickly went through Emma's body as the weight of Killian being with someone else left her shoulders. "Oh that's too bad", she said trying to act like she wasn't completely happy.
.....
Time went on and Killian and Emma still liked each other however didn't admit to their emotions at all. There was two weeks left for the show and they were informed by the council that they were going to be against toothed schools that merged. It was a huge competition that they had to win.
Killian and Emma planned a field trip to a star watching place. They thighs it would be good to have the students become more comfortable with each other paso that they could have an easier time working together.
They were laying on a blanket as they watched the stars. They started pointing at areas of the sky where the starts would look like different shapes.
"Look! That one looks like turtle riding in a horse!", Emma said as she pointed at the sky.
"Well that's creative", Killian said with a chuckle.
"Oh shut up", she said trying to hide her laughter.
They pointed out the weirdest shapes and started laughing about every thing. They rolled around the blanket as they laughed until they bumped into each other. They were facing each other as they laid down on the blanket and their smiles started to fade away. They got lost in each other's eyes and lost focus about everything else going on. They felt like they were the only people on Earth. They stayed liked that for a minute until Killian finally leaned in and gently kissed Emma's lips. After the quick kiss, they just started at each other for a few more seconds until Killian kissed Emma's lips again-this time, it was a long and passionate kiss. Their lips moved slowly and passionately as they laid under the beautiful and shining stars.
