Silent Road Home

~Chapter 8~

We all pile out of the bus in a hurry to get into the huge mall that awaits us.  I start getting flutterbies  as we get to the door. Rad must've noticed because he's looking at me with a smirk.
"What?" I look at him and he blushes and looks down.
"Nothing!" He chuckles. I roll my eyes and shrug it off mainly focused on the amazing time we're going to have.

   We walk past this huge blue building labeled "Under The Sea".  I tilt my head and smile a little,
"Is that what I think it is?" I say getting excited.
They all start clucking to themselves before Grant speaks up.
"An Aquarium?" He chuckles more as I stop them to look at the outside of it.
"Can I tell you guys something?"
They all nod..
"I've never been to an aquarium.." I muffle out and look at my feet embarrassed. They all laugh louder and gasp.
"Never!? Oh my go- come on.." With that Conrad grabs my wrist and starts walking me, to the entrance, the boys following behind.

  We go to the first room which has gold fish and fishes that you could buy. The room has a blue tint and is dim. The tanks have a beautiful oceanic look and actually make me feel like I'm under water. I start having memories of when I would go swimming when I was little. When my family was content.. Those were the days.
"You okay?" Rad steps beside me and smiles looking at me. I look at him, my hands on the glass tank, and nod.
"I'm great. You?" I chuckle gently and smile more.
"I'm alright." He smiles that famous dimple smile like he smiled when we first met a day ago. 

   We go to this one tank that has starfish in it that you can actually touch! The guys go right to the rank first in a hurry.
"Woah! This ones furry!" Grant says as he runs his finger tips across the multicolored starfish. Anthony smiles as he pets the pink starfish.
"It'd be kind of like Patrick if it had some shorts.." He says in a chuckle.
I giggle and look down at the cute little sea creatures before looking behind me to see a tank full of JELLYFISH! I jog over to the jellies tank and admire them. I pull my phone out and take a few pictures. Grant looks over at me and smiles wide.
"OOOO! SELFIE!" He says and runs over to me happily. I groan and smile.
"I look terrible, Grant." I say awkwardly.
"You look fine, Haley." He says back sassily. I roll my eyes and pull the front camera up. Before I take the picture all the other boys rush over to get in it too chanting 'Selflie'.

We ended up taking like 20 selfies in like 3 minutes. Now we're heading to the food court to grab a bite for lunch. I look around for a Starbucks and finally see one.
"Starbies!!" I say happily.
"Want something from there?" Rad asks. I nod and jump up and down like the child I really am.

"I need a medium vanilla bean frap, whipped cream and umm, extra coffee" I smile as they nod and tell me my total which is only like 5 bucks. I hand them the money and wait on my drink.
"Nice order." Grant says in a smirk. I nod and smirk back.

-hours later-

We finally get to the place I've been waiting for.. HOT TOPIC.. I admire the front view of the beautiful store before walking in. I take in a breath of fresh air and start looking around.
I find an All Time Low tee, a choker, a makeup pallet, an eyeliner stick, a bikini, and my LIFE! I almost hyperventilate as I get to the register.
"$75.81" the hot cash register dude with 1/2" gauges, a lip ring, and almost 30 tattoos says.
I look over at Rad before opening my wallet. I have 100 bucks in here.. I take the hundred out and hand it to the guy and wait for the bag and my change.

We get done with our fabulous mall day and get back on the bus.
"Thanks guys. That was loads of fun!" I say plopping on the couch in the nice air conditioned bus.
They all agree and sit too.

Eventually, I end up laying back and falling asleep...
