"Oh, you know, just some nasty kids that thought they were cool" Jacob said calmly. Yet Quentin and Jane both knew he was just improvising. "They were trying to play a prank and so that's why we weren't... Here?" Aunt Elizabeth looked at him suspiciously but believed him. "Yea we ran after them as soon as we got a glimpse at them and their parents gave us to money for the window's" Jacob continued "oh that's great, well while I'm at work I want you three to go get the windows will ya?" she looked at them who were all wearing surprised and nervous smiles. She got over the broken windows very quickly after hearing about the money.

"Don't answer that because you have no choice, now I've got the afternoon shift when I get back those window's better be fixed" grabbing her jacket and bag she opened the front door "goodbye I'll be back at nine" walked out and slammed it behind her.

"Are you insane? We don't have the money to fix-" Quentin counted on his fingers "four window's!"

"Don't you get it? We don't have to, you and and Jane both how control of all elements you can melt the sand and create glass." "Jacob you fool, haven't you ever payed attention in science? Actually don't answer that, we can't just make glass like that we need sodium carbonate and calcium carbonate" Quentin spoke in a tone that said he was done with Jacobs excuse for a brain.

"Um, I have an idea" Jane said raising her hand, earning their attention. "What if Quentin uses levitation-" "I don't know how to levitate! How did you know I should be able to levitate?" Quentin cut in "you'll figure it out. Back to what I was saying, you do that Jacob will freeze it in place and then I can melt it and mold it together" Jane suggested "that could work" Jacob agreed.

"Okay are you even thinking about the fact that I don't know how to levitate?! I mean I can barely carry a glass of water with out almost spilling all the water in it!"Quentin spoke so fast it was hard to understand what he was saying "I didn't even know I could do this till a few days ago! I-I-I-I" he started to mutter things to himself and paced back and forth"Quentin, Quentin, Quentin!" Jane yelled getting Quentin to stop pacing "calm down, just walk up to the window, and try it, I don't even know how to use my powers but i'll figure it out" she instructed.

"Alright I got this, wait what is this?" He pointed to the black ball that sat on the floor, "it's uh it's one of the fire-orbs that's what happens when the fire dies down, the ball becomes a solid, which replaces the strong sphere of air and gas it once was." She rolled the ball to the side with her foot and pushed Quentin up to the glass, "go".

Looking back on the two he gave a nervous expression before looking back at the glass. He focused on every single piece. He pointed at them all with a specific finger and lifted his hands higher, the pieces of broken glass following. "See you told you could do it" Jane cheered. A large grin made its way to Quentin's face. One by one he placed a piece of glass in position between the frame.

"Alright Jacob freeze it" Jane once again instructed. Quentin stepped back and let Jacob move forward but kept hold on the placement of glass. As Jacob moved his hand toward it the crackling sound of ice spreading over it was noticeable. "Right Quentin you can let go now, it's my turn" and Quentin did just that.

Jane raised her hand and balled into a fist, just as the ice melted so did the glass. You could see the steam coming from the molten glass which was odd it they ignored it. Minutes later the glass was connected and the window looks as good as new. "One down three to go" Jane announced. "I thought you didn't know how to use your powers" Quentin scoffed "i'm winging it, shut up" she answered.

Half an hour and three fixed windows later the three were done. And right in time before aunt Elizabeth gets home. They all collapsed on the couch in the living room. "I'm back!" A voice called they all shot up from their seats "aunt Elizabeth, you weren't supposed to be home till 9 it's only 4" Quentin spoke.

"I know, I know I got off early. I see you fixed the window's thank you. How did you get it done so fast?" "A magician never shares their secrets" Quentin said in a nervy tone. She set her things in a chair. "Shut up with that 'magician' crap you sound like my sister, now come on, my co-workers were saying something about some big fire that burnt up that left a crop circle on the news."

"Shit!" the three whispered simultaneously "what was that?" "nothing" Quentin covered. Jane was fairly introduced to the idea of a television but it still amazed her every time she saw it in action. Aunt Elizabeth sat in her chair while the three huddled together on the couch. She turned on the TV, while the three waited with fear of what the might hear.

"Breaking news!" The broadcaster announced "an unknown said crop circle was found just earlier this morning in Washington D.C!" they played a live video coming from the helicopter they saw earlier, the helicopter flew over and in circles above the so called crop circle. The land was burnt, the trees had fallen and were burnt as well, not even the animals made it out alive. "We have people searching the area currently, but its said the the circle has a three mile radius and a six mile diameter." The three gasped, had they really burnt this much land? "Did I do this?" Jane whispered into Quentin's ear, he said nothing but nodded. "Our reporters in the helicopters said they have footage of three people running away while two others were stuck together, here it is." Three figures stood over two others, they couldn't move it looked as if they were tied together with a rope. You could tell that they were speaking, the girl of the three figures took out a small dagger from what seemed thin air and did more than threaten these people, she actually slit them, multiple times. Jane cringed, is this what they looked like in action? It felt weird seeing it in a third person view.

Again the figures continued to talk, one of the males got the females attention and they looked up at the helicopter. It was zoomed as close as it possible could be to get a good look at their faces but all they saw were pixels. The three began to run, leaving behind the two tied men. The camera followed their movements, but the three of them all disappeared into a blue hole that appeared from no where and floated midair, then disappearing behind them, with that was the last of the footage before it cut off. "Oh my god!" Aunt Elizabeth had said along with the news broadcaster.

The man on the TV had turned to ask the camera man if this was completely real, the response was unheard but they guessed he said 'yes' as the look of surprise never left his face. "We have an update: the two men have been put into interrogation and fifteen minutes ago, while ten other men dressed in all the same head to toe black robes were found on all ends of the perimeter of the circle. All were declared dead with their heads smashed." He continued, Jane wasn't sure if she should be happy that they're dead, or upset. But silently pretended to be doing a victory dance in her head. "We will be back with more updates, in just a moment. Now we will head over to Mrs. Lock, for the weather" the man said with an anxious look as the screen changed to the weather lady.

"Hey, uh Aunt Liz?" Jacob called, she turned back at him, "call us down when they start talking about the crop circle again" she nodded and they all scurried upstairs.
