The bunker was much darker than usual. Tables were pushed between the isles of books and chairs sat on top. But that wasn't Quentin's main focus, It was the clear path way to the open portal door at the end of it. He didn't bother even glancing at Orydor, he yanked both Jane's and Jacobs collar and made a run for it. Jane and Jacob both almost fell at the sudden pull but balanced themselves and followed Quentin. With an unfortunate blink, half way down the hallway the portal door slammed shut, giving a loud boom and shaking the ground slightly. The small quake made them fall to the ground in which they all turned around and look at the man before them.
"Stand up you fools!" He yelled, to which they obeyed. This allowed them to get a good look at the man. He had dark circles around his eyes, so black they could be mistaken for paint, he was bald around the top of his head yet long locks flowed from the back of his head and sides. His nose was giant, it looked more like a tennis ball painted his tan skin color with nostrils. Just with that his lips poked out and showed his hideous yellow stained teeth.
"What'd ya want from us?" Quentin braved "What do you care?" Orydor spat "um... I don't know maybe the fact it involves us!" Quentin retorted stepping ahead and blocking Jane from his view. Orydor laughed, "when did you become so brave Quentin? You used to be such a cautious child" "what are you talking about?" "When you were 7 years old your mother and I always tried to get you to go on rides at the carnival, never budged. You didn't even want to feed the animals at the petting zoo. But Jacob! Oh you there son were just so excited to try everything and anything."
"SON?" the three chorused, "I-I am not! I-I'm not your son!" Jacob yelled, "That's what you think" Orydor said giving nasty laugh. Jacob looked over at his brother, only to find he was just as surprised, it didn't make sense.
His father was dead, their father dead, he had died long ago. Heart attack, their mother said. He died when Quentin was only 4 and Jacob was 6. That makes this physically impossible. Jacob stepped back and turned to Quentin, he had a look in his eyes in which only Quentin understood and shook his head. "Listen up you-... you Shan-Yu Jafar Disney villain looking mix breed!" Quentin yelled earning a growl from Orydor. "What are you a dog now?" He commented walking closer, " You came here to kill her! But you can't have her-" "Unless I go through you?" Orydor asked cutting Quentin off "It was my original plan, but I guess you were just to dull to notice. You see Quentin, I was never after just the girl. Oh no ruins the fun, I wanted you two, too. And now I finally have you" he gave a smile that showed his rotten yellow teeth, his pale skin made with great contrast to it, the dark circles that surrounded his eyes like a raccoon lifted lightly. "And what is it you want from us? You don't know us?" Quentin asked, which he later realized probably wasn't the best idea.
"Is that true now?" Orydor smiled once again before looking Quentin they eyes. Quentin didn't dare look away as Orydor started to change slowly. His black hair was turning brown and was shrinking and re-growing in gelled spikes on his head. The dark circles around his eyes disappeared completely, his ripped clothes became a stripped brown suit. Jacob gasped, "dad?" he whispered slowly moving closer. Quentin didn't believe his eyes, it couldn't be real, out of everything that had happened to him this wasn't real. His dad was dead, and always will be. "Jacob no!" he screamed, but it was to late, Jacob was mesmerized and Orydor was already turning back into his self. By the time he did, Jacob was to close, Orydor raised a hand a blue string of light left his finger, and wrapped itself around Jacobs neck. He quickly raised his hands to his neck trying to release himself but it only made it worse.
A chair appeared underneath him and he was dropped onto it. The string on light unleashed itself, then wrapping itself around Jacobs body and chair, tying him to it. "Now that I have your full attention lets get to story time huh?" Quentin was ready to speak but- "and no interruptions, you don't know how to keep your litter yapper shut."
