"Well I'm just saying it's a bit strange that out of nowhere Nattie and Sam started 'talking' to each other," says Ireland.
"Just let them be," I say as I keep on playing with my food. We sat on one of the lunch tables and ever since we got here all they've been talking is about the two of them.
"What's up your ass today?" asks Ireland, now noticing how annoyed I am.
"Nothing really, it's just annoying how all you've been ranting about is them. Leave them alone, who cares what they are," I tell her and suddenly get up leaving the table. I take the tray of food and throw it away ignoring their calls. I start walking towards my locker thinking about what just happened. I understand Ireland likes Sam but she has to just let him be, who cares what rep Nattie has at school, it really shouldn't be any of their business, if only they knew the things I've done and they'd probably be talking about me too.
"Oh shi.t sorry," I hear just as a body crashes onto me, pushing me into a locker. I drop my phone and reach down to pick it up just as the person does too.
"No, sorry it was my fault. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going," I say and grab my phone, I look at the person and see it's a boy. He fixes the sunglasses he is wearing and I notice he is carrying a binder . He seems a bit intimidating by his height and the aura around him but I quickly fix my posture.
"Katherine Reckless, is that correct ?" The stranger asks.
"The one and only, you are ?" I ask.
"Ian Jackson, great to finally meet you, heard loads about you, " he tells and extends his hand. I only nod my head and start walking away from him.
"You're nice," I hear him say as I turn the corner down the hall. He's not bad, not bad looking but for him to think he can just speak to me like we are friends, yeah no. See here is the thing, I don't know this guy, nobody just randomly comes up to me and would tell me that, not because of fear but because they know better then to ask anything.
I reach my locker and grab my binder for my next class, English. I make my way to the class and walk in, there was only five minutes left of lunch so I'd much rather be early then to have to listen to any of my friends at the moment. I sit in the back and check my phone, I see Kendrick, my older brother had texted me.
Kendrick; Just bought my favorite little sister some coffee, come get it. I'm at the front
I smile and quickly reply letting him know I'm on my way, I grab my binder and rush out of class. Just then the bell rings and students are making the hallway crowded but I make my way through them. I reach the front door and walk out and spot Kendrick's black Audi parked. I see some of the boys have their heads stuck in the car probably speaking to him.
"Make room for the princess guys," I say as I reach them.
"Shouldn't the princess be in class?" asks Alex as he moves away from the car.
"Yes, but her peasant brought her some coffee," I tell him and they laugh.
"Gee I wonder who your peasant is because if you're referring to me I will leave now," Kendrick says as I reach him.
"Of course not brother, you know I love you," I tell him and open the car door.
"Nash said you went home today," says Kendrick as I hug him.
"Just had to go get some papers, there was no need to inform him," I say and then face Nash as he stands next to Joseph.
"Alright, just making sure you did go, you know how things are right now. Also have you heard anyone talk about last nights events?" he asks whispering the last part.
