Hey remember the girl from the first chapter, I have been talking to her and I found out that when we were "dating", she was actually being bullied. She had never told me, she hid it and didn't tell anyone but when she left me and my school it continued for many years. Each day slowly breaking her spirit to care what others think until one day she finally stopped caring. By this point she had been so damaged, So broken-spirited, she was hurt and vulnerable, she was in a state which I wish I could have helped all those years. I was still in my search through all terms of social media, but still nothing. I knew she grew up in this very digitally social generation, I hoped that she would create just one simple page whether it was Twitter, or Instagram, Facebook, and MySpace. One day I had gone to church and I saw this girl that looked really familiar but with a better look, I realized it was her but she had changed so much. I couldn't really be sure maybe it was just someone that I thought was her something my mind made up. Later that day I had gotten a message on Facebook saying that the girl I thought was her friend requested me, so I accepted and messaged her. I said hey did you go to so and so elementary school and turns out she did. It was the one person I had been looking for. for years I looked every day to see if I could find her. Eventually, after some small talk, I brought up the situation of how I was mean to her when she was leaving. I apologized for my actions and to my surprise, she had forgiven me but recently I heard that she had been going through a rough time. I heard nothing of this from her so I texted her and then she called me we talked for a while and then she had started telling me about her family and her past I felt terrible, I wish I could have helped I wish I could have been there for her during these hard situations but she had moved away but now I will check up on her every day as much as possible to see how she is doing because I don't want that to happen again.
