I almost don't know how to start this but I guess we can go from the beginning. Time for a short description I guess and setting, so it was 2nd grade, I was about 8 years old. I went to an elementary school that was just down the street from my childhood home. Little did I know I was about to have a whole new flood of emotions. At school, how it works is we get lunch and then we were allowed recreation time called recess so after lunch I went to the playground. Also some quick details about me in second grade is I wasn't very popular, I only had about two friends in which both were guys. We were all kinda like the three weird kids but I always considered us the three Stooges kinda because we didn't care what people though about us we just like to play and have fun. At recess I was looking for either William or Eric my friend but was unable to find them so I walked in the sandbox searching and so I am looking through the area and something caught my eye. It wasn't my friends but a girl, she had very pretty blonde hair and I felt a pressure in my chest as I continue to look at her. Somehow, looking at her was different than looking at anyone else. Why did I feel nervous and like I want to run away but alway say "Hello".  I felt weird was I sick but weirdly I though to myself I was happy. I have never experienced this before it was a new experience. Days continue to go by, I found myself catching small glances almost uncontrollably. I would look at her and wonder, what has overcome me. Was this a mysterious magic that had taken me? I continued to progress through 2nd grade and but just as my knowledge of school and multiplication table would continue to grow the feeling I experienced kept growing. It got to the point just thinking of school made me anxious so it was time that I confront this feeling. The following day, I walked up to her and started a conversation will a primary aim to just get this feeling under control instead I find out that she had know for awhile the you like her. She recounted about seeing the look that she saw in my eye as I would peer across the playground. I got drastically worried and didn't know how this would progress but she then speaks again and say meet me here tomorrow. So now that tomorrow is today, I  walked onto the playground but I felt something strange like a pair of eyes on me, I looked around and finally I found that she was looking with a great purpose at me. As I met her eyes I saw that she seemed nervous, I walked over to her and she asked for us to walk through the grass. -We began walking towards each other both of us nervous about what the answer to the question we wanted to ask so badly. In that moment she and I had said the exact same words "I like you" these words remain with me till this day. As the year went on we did all we knew of relationships at the time which was hanging out a lot ,me being the person I was at the time was very good since I was remembered as one of the funniest kids on campus at the time. Anyway, one year had gone by then the worst thing possible happened that could, she had told me that her father was being transferred Which meant that she would have to move and leave school. Me being a nine year old with no experience with breakups or heartbreak was devastated and had no clue in which to act in this situation. Till this day I regret what I had chosen in which was to be angry and a total jerk, instead of spending the time that I had left with her happily. The time did come were she had left and I felt a hole in myself my jokes had become repetitive and bland I had lost my spirit to be funny the years had gone on I had gone all the way through elementary with my jokes never really being told after that point
