I found my fear....Losing you (19)

Hey, so this is the next chapter, I know it is short but it is only part 1 of the fight.

Chapter 19 – Fight (Part 1)

Alex

All three of us sat in silence hearing howls of pain and celebration, the problem was I couldn’t tell the difference between my side’s howls or the Xavier’s wolves which meant I didn’t know who was winning. I hadn’t heard Erik’s since the one which alerted us to their presence. Victoria was staring at the ceiling frowning as if she wished she could see through it, I looked up to finding myself whishing the same thing. There was a bang and all our heads jerked in that direction and I saw Ben take a defensive pose instantly, ready to jump in front of his mate. When my eyes caught up with my head movements, my eyes focused on a smirking Xavier. His smirk sent shivers down my spine. “Well your pack as arrived Alex” he said uncrossing his arms from his chest, but what scared me the most was to see that he had a glove on one hand which seemed to be coated in silver. I quickly glanced at Ben to see his eyes were wide, and fear had leaked into them sealing my fate that glove was covered in silver and it would soon be aiming for me.

“Now sweetie how about you go find mummy, daddy is just going to teach these bad boys a lesson” he said glaring at Ben’s hand which was now clutching both of Victoria’s for dear life. She nodded with a smile; he got up off the floor her hands slipping effortlessly from Ben’s hands, even though the look on Ben’s face I am sure it was one of the hardest things he had to do in his life. Victoria skipped out of my cage and hugged her father’s waits making my stomach turn with fear but I saw him smile down at her and wrap his unsilvered hand round his daughter. She turned and waved at both Ben and I before disappearing out the door. As soon as she was gone Xavier’s smile twisted into one of hate and it scared me shitless. He brought the glove in front of his face “If they want you back they can have you and him to” he said him like he was being sick, but his smile never dropped from his face. “Now who’s first?” he said taking a step towards both cages. I quickly glanced at Ben who had his eyes shut as if he was silently praying, then four words came as a whisper from his mouth that had me volunteering “Please let me live”

“Me, I will go first” Xavier grinned “Brilliant”. He tied both Ben and I back to the wall but this time we were out in the larger room which had the door that he had entered through and Victoria had disappeared from.  “Now Alex, tell your father’s name?” he asked I was confused by this but I answered anyway looking him right in the eye “Alpha Ted Star” he grinned “Well done” then without warning he lunged forward and hit me in the shoulder with the silver glove, making me gasp in pain. “This game is simple, you get a question correct your pain is not as bad, if not well” he next turned to Ben who was glaring at him his gaze almost burning holes in the side of Xavier’s face. “Ben who do you love?” I saw a smile creep its way on to Ben’s face “Always the same question Xavier, my answer won’t change” I could see anger raising in Xavier, causing him to shout his next statement at Ben instead of the calm voice he had been talking in before. “Answer Me” his voice echoed on the walls drowning out the sounds which were still going on above for a moment. But then I realised why Xavier was down here, if we could hear them that must mean they were inside the house, and I felt a smile come on my face.

“Victoria” said Ben confidently, Xavier started shaking with his anger, but his smile also grew “Wrong answer” this time when he lunged forward it was to Ben stomach, were there was less muscle or bone just skin and organs. Ben didn’t make a sound but I could tell he was just holding it in because a single tear drop down his cheek. I looked down to see blood had already started to seep through his already blood stained top. Xavier came back to stand in front of me closer this time, hurting Ben had calm him down enough so he was no longer shaking, but he still had anger but also amusement in his eyes. “So Alex you now see what will happen if you answer this next question wrongly.” I looked back over to Ben to see he had lay his head back on the cold stone behind us gasping for air, with quick sharp breaths. I looked back into Xavier’s eyes to see the excitement jumping in them. “Who will die tonight?” he asked with a half grin I didn’t hesitate in answer or think it through either the word fell form my mouth freely. “You” he glared at me for half a second then shot forward “Wrong answer” and he punched me in the face, so hard that my head hit the wall behind me with a deafening bang.

But I wasn’t concentrating on that because my face now felt as if it was on fire, as if he had skinned it alive. I didn’t know what the damaged look like but I could easily guess because I heard Ben gasps it horror, and Xavier chuckle. Then the fire increased when Xavier slapped my cheek sending my head the other direction saying “And that was for your tone” I wouldn’t let Xavier have the satisfaction of hearing my pain so like Ben earlier I held my tongue. I heard Xavier chuckle and move away again I guess to Ben, but I no longer had enough energy to turn and look.

“Ben how old is my daughter?” he had a hard tone in his voice “Eight” said Ben sounding bored and tired “Correct” I didn’t know where he hit him, but it must be better than how my felt still felt. What made it worse was that the silver we were still chained with was keeping us from healing like we normally would using are werewolf gene. I heard Xavier come to stand in front of me again, “Now Alex you going to answer it correctly this time” I could do anything but look at his face at the corner of my eye. He was about to ask me a question when the door opened I turned my eye to look at the guy who was stood there. I saw his eyes move to my face and went pale, and quickly look away. I guessed I looked bad it still felt like it was on fire so I guess it would. “You told me to get you when they reach the main hall” Xavier nodded and san back round to me, “Time for them to choose” then he came forward hitting me in the eye and the stomach at once. I screamed this time unable to keep it in, I felt myself loosing consciousness. “Now time to go find your father and mate young one.”

Erik

I ripped at the side of Xavier’s beta, he was a hard kill then I thought he would be but I was determined to succeed I had to find and save my baby. And I would not let anyone stand in my way; I felt teeth sink into my right flank. I howled loud as it put a tear in the muscle, I span round fast hitting off the wolves.  The beta once again held my full attention as it tried to catch me at surprise but I wouldn’t let it happen, I doged to the left, causing the beta to fly into one of its own wolves which was currently fighting Jackson. Jackson looked confused at the heap which was currently the beta and the wolf he had moments before fighting. The his eyes meet mine and a grin covered his mouth, and I felt myself grin back even though we were still slightly outnumbered we were winning we had made it inside the house, we were currently in what I think used to be an entrance hall. But as I looked round it was covered in blood and dead bonds, I didn’t look to closely to see if I knew any of the human naked bodies, or wolf vacant eyes we would look once we had won.

I quickly looked back at Jackson when I heard him whine, I looked to see that the wolf he had been fighting was still lying next to his beta next to the wall after they both obvious hit it causing them to go unconscious for who knows how long, but I am sure the beta would wake up first being he was stronger. I looked back at Jackson to see fear covering his face and I realised he wasn’t whispering at his own pain but his mates, Sam’s. Which must mean she was having the baby, NOW! I barked to get his attention his scared eyes met mind straight away and I nodded my head in the direction which we had come from. He shook his head, waiting to stay and fight. But that was insane if Alex was having a baby, which I know is impossible we would have to cross that bridge when we got to it, I know I would want to be there. I growled at him and pushed him in the direction of our territory, he shook his head again and I barked with alpha command coming through strong. I knew it would have no effect since he is not in my pack and he was an alpha mate meaning he didn’t have to listen to his own alpha’s command but I was hoping it would show him how serious I was.

But still he shook his head and I saw a wolf come running his direction. I turned human quickly make it painfully to talk since not everything was in its right place but I managed “GO!” I shouted as I ran forward to intercept the charging wolf it scratch down my still human chest I felt my skin open as the razor sharp claws ran down it. “Thank you” I heard Jackson voice before I turned back into my wolf form to take down the wolf in front of me. Thinking when did I get so nice?
