Chapter 9: Our Day Off

"so what's the plan again?" joey asked

"We get in from a break we found in the wall of the building, it should be just about wide enough to walk through." silver explained

"So how long is it going to take to get there." I asked

"it shouldn't take too long, a couple of hours at the most."
Joey answered

"oh and Where's Angela?"

"she has that portal thing remember." I replied

Then a portal opened and Angela fell through followed by all her stuff.

"hmph speak of the devil....." I say

She gets up and brushes herself off

".....And she shall appear!" Angela continues.

"where have you been, everybody thought you went missing." we all asked.

"well....Everywhere I guess....."
Angela replied

"What have you been doing for so long?"joey asked

"you know.....the usual. fighting villains, travelling, being a hero."

"I even met travelling versions of you three and at one point I was a member of fairy tail."

We all look at her in disbelief.

"Anyway.........Where's jess?"

"I don't know, but she's probably still asleep."I said

So we went to see if jess was awake.

Silver went in first, there was nothing for a while, then he was seemingly picked up and thrown out... The same thing happened to joey.

Then I went in.....

"Jess....baby...wake up....."
I asked quietly,standing by the door.

She moans at me

I moved closer to her

"baby...wake up....." I asked again

Then,suddenly,she grabs me and drags me into bed next to her

She seemed very happy with me there next to her.

I put my arms around her and then I must have fallen asleep.

What was probably a few hours later I heard knocking on the door.

Then Silver barged in

"Ben you were supposed to get her out of bed, not get in with her."

"calm down dude it's fine, having a day off won't kill you." I replied
"Yeah but what about the--"

"Yes I know but it'll still be the same tomorrow so why not have the day off." I said, interrupting him

"yeah I guess you're right. See you later." silver answered as he walked out of the room.

So that's exactly what we did.

we all had a day off and me and jess stayed in bed and watched TV all day.

And the next day we would all go back home and Kelly would see her sister again for the first time since she disappeared.
