Em's pov

The next morning I wake up in Ryan's arms. I look up at him and notice he's still asleep. I sigh as I unravel my-self from his arms.  That's when he wakes up. "Stay in bed with me Em." Ryan mumbles as he sits up. I look over to him and sigh. "Are we really going to get him back." I ask  as I slide down the bathroom door. Ryan walks over to  me. "We are going to find him." Ryan says as he sat next to me and pulls me into a hug. I start to cry. Zane help me through my mom and dads death and now he is going to be kill by Alex. Why does Alex want to bring me pain? "I cant take it Ryan." I sob out as I cry harder. "It'll be ok Em." Ryan says as he tilts my head up so I could look him in the eyes. I closed my eyes as more tears came down. "Please don't cry Em." Ryan whispers as he kiss me. I kiss him back and he lift me up on the bed. "I need you." Ryan says as he smiles at  me. I look at him and whisper "I need you too." "Lets go get you breakfast." Ryan says. "I'm not hungry." I answer. "Em you have been saying that lately. You need to eat." Ryan says as he gives me the look that's says  you better not aurage with me.. "I'll be fine Ryan." I says. "No you wont. Could you please eat for me. Please Em for me." Ryan says. "Fine but can I stay in bed?" I say. "Alright. if that makes you eat." Ryan said.   He walk out. A few minutes later he came back in and hand me my breakfast. I eat a little then we start to talk about things. "I'm going to sing you a song. Hope you like it Em." Ryan says.

I follow my dreams

By the time he was done singing I was smiling. He looks at me and saw my smile. "Like it?" He asks. "Like it? I love it!" I exclaim. "Do you want to show me if you can sing?" He asks. I nod my head a yes.

I am standing on the edge of returning or just running away

I am letting myself look the other way

And the hardest part in all of this is I don't think I know my way back home

Is it worth the journey or do I let my heart settle here

How cold have I become

And let you see all that has become of me

I look at him and he was smiling like crazy. "Like it?" I ask. "You have such a beautiful voice. I love it." He says as he pulls me up. "We are going to take a run." He states. I laugh but agree. Once we were down the stairs no one was around. "There is something wrong here. I can feel it." I say as I ran outside. I went into the woods and shift. I masked my scent and so did Ryan. I went were a field were and gasp were Alex and Zane were. They were both laughing. "So your saying that I poison Em." Zane says. "Yes. Just think about it she was the one who killed your parents. Doesn't the anger wants to kill her. Make her feel your pain all those years." Alex says with hatred in his eyes. I couldn't believe this Zane was going to turn his back on me. "Lets do it." Zane answers. They start to walk away as two people grabs Ryan and me and drags us out. We had both our legs and hands tied together. They brought us to Alex and Zane. Alex only smirk. "No long no see Em. I was wondering when you would show up." Alex says as he touch me chin which caused Ryan to growled. "I see you found your mate. Wouldn't it be sad to see him die." Alex says as he smirks. "What the hell happen to you Alex! We were best friends when I was 10 and know you hate me. You were the one who left! That's probably it. You went to do the course. I told you to be careful." I yell. Alex eyes soften a bit but then he cover it up. "Alex you were like my older brother that I never had. But instead you shut me out of your life. I trusted you. I thought you will never ever turn your back. Do you even remember what I said about that." I say quietly. "You said that is anyone turn their back then they are just bitches, and people who don't know what they are going to do. That they are probably confuse or don't remember their childhood." Alex states. "Alex your one of them. Your confuse and don't know what to do. You found your family and they told bad things about me that I never did or not to trust me. You need to use what you know about the person and use that. Not what other people told." I say. "Shut the hell up." Alex says as he pull out a knife that had wolfbane and cut Ryan. "Alex please leave him out of this. Alex please." I say as I started to feel him slipping away. "Alex! Please! Don't do this to me. What have I done to make you hate me?" I sob as tears starts to fall down fast. I couldn't take this. Loosing your mate, your other half gone within a second. Then I felt something hit my head. The only thing I saw before everything went black was my mate. His body fill with cuts.
