Suzuka was so nervous about her first day at school. It was not just because everyone was a new face for her since her transfer from America to Japan but also she was the presumptive year-level school representative for the present school year and possibly the next student council president of Sakura High, an exclusive High School for girls. She had been thinking that she might be appointed in such position since the school's student representatives are chosen by its stakeholders and her mother is one of them. She entered the school gate covering her nervousness with a confident posture and proceeded towards the bulletin board where the list of students and their assigned classroom were posted. Class 2-1, it's the first class section for special students with excellent academic grades in the school and it is assumed that students who belonged in this class should also maintain a high standard of grade - this is where Suzuka belong. This became another reason for her to be more anxious about her new school life.

"Class, I'd like to introduce to you a transfer student in our school and your new classmate, Nakamoto Suzuka" The homeroom teacher said after introducing herself to the class. "Ok Suzuka, introduce yourself."

"Good morning everyone, I am Nakamoto Suzuka. I am a transfer student from America but I'm originally from Japan. I just stayed there for three years and came back here because of my mother's request. I hope that you will be nice to me" She greeted the class with a nice smile then bowed.

"Ok Suzuka, you can sit at the vacant seat at the back." The teacher said.

Suzuka could feel the pressure of the stares of some of her classmates as she walked towards her seat. She couldn't tell if they were pleased about her presence or not.

"Nice meeting you Suzuka! I'm Yukiyama Hikari. But you could just call me Kari-san" Her seatmate greeted her with a friendly face. "Is it true that you are the daughter of one of the school's stakeholders?"

"Uhmm.. yes. How did you know?"

"Really? Wow! I'm really looking forward into being one of your friends! I hope the school's board of directors would choose you to be the next school's student representative." Hikari said blissfully.

"Ehhh?" Suzuka was shocked about how fast this information about her was known to her classmates. She even thought that this might be also known by the other students in the school. More and more she became anxious about her first experience in this new environment. It seemed like she instantly turned out to be the center of attention at that moment.

"Hey Su-san, let's eat lunch together!" Hikari invited her during their lunch break.

"Sure!" Suzuka replied. "But I guess the canteen is crowded now. The teacher didn't dismiss us early."

"Don't worry. We can go with Mai-chan at the rooftop. She said there are gazebos there where we could eat our packed lunch." Hikari talked to her enthusiastically. "Hey! I forgot. Do you bring packed lunch with you?"

"Sure. Actually I brought some extra food to share. I'm thinking maybe I could share some of my favorite American food to you." Suzuka responded to Hikari's enthusiasm.

"Really? Wow! I like that!"

The two girls excitedly went to the rooftop to eat their lunch. There they meet their classmate Mai who just recently came from the canteen to buy some refreshments.

"Kari-san! Su-san! I'm lucky I've bought our favorite refreshments!" Mai said

"Really! Wow! Su-san also said she prepared some American food for us to share." Hikaru said
