"What's the meaning of this? Why am I not informed that there will be this kind of event?" The CEO asked.

"Konichiwa, Goshuujin-sama." Suzuka greeted Miss Sakura with a low bow as a sign of respect. The other students who also helped in the preparation also followed Suzuka in her greeting in sync.

"We have already asked the permission of the school faculty and agreed to do this without violating the school rules and regulations like soliciting for the event or using the school's name to generate funds." Suzuka explained.

"Are you the one who fore fronted this event Miss Nakamoto?" Sakura Tomoyo asked.

"Yes ma'am." She responded with a rather confident yet shaky voice.

"You disappoint me Miss Nakamoto." She then swiped the disco light ball that Suzuka was holding causing it to fall in the ground and break. "What the board of directors has decided is already decided and don't rebel against it." In reality, she doesn't really have anything against the school idol performance concert. What pissed her was the fact that Suzuka disregarded the previous decision of the board of directors to discontinue the said event and she viewed her action as a form of insurgency. She hates people who rebels especially if they were against her authority. She then walked away from the scene leaving the shocked Suzuka behind.

"Are you ok Suzuka-chan?" Moa ran towards her. She then held her hands and rubbed her back to comfort her.

"Are you hurt or got wounded from those broken lights?" Yui asked as she squatted near Suzuka to check if her legs were hurt from the shattered debris.

"It's ok Moa-chan. Yui-chan. I'm ok. I'm a strong girl. You don't need to worry about me." Suzuka said but deep inside her she was hurt. All that she wanted to do is to become the best person that she could be and that her mother and the school's authority can be proud of. But the insult of the woman whom she admired when she was still a child pierced deeply in her heart. She wanted to cry but she didn't want the people around her to see it especially Moa and Yui. She wanted to be a good role model, an idol to the two so that they would also learn how to be strong. Suzuka was willing to get hurt and pretend not to be hurt just for them. "Have you seen a fox who cried? None right? Well I am a fox." She then smiled at the two. They returned a sweet smile to her and get back to their work.

"But foxes are also good at pretending." Suzuka told herself without anyone hearing.

"Hey Suzuka-san! Are you still going to continue the school idol performance concert?" Mai asked.

"I guess yes. She never said anything that we should stop it, right?" Suzuka answered with a smiling face.

That night Suzuka wanted to watch and listen to her favorite metal concert compilation but then realized that she had already sold these. It saddened her that she had sold her precious collections which used to cheer her up especially on sad times like that but then she realized all of these sacrifices wouldn't go in vain. Because of that, she learned how to take risks just to reach her dreams and become strong for her friends. She thought those material things couldn't equal the comfort and love that her friends could give her. A smile wiped out the melancholy in her face.

The door bell rang and Suzuka hurriedly went down to open the door. She knew it was her mother. Her mother is a busy person yet less strict than her father. She is a real estate broker who used to lease and rent property in the different parts of the city. Aside from this, her mother also holds a significant number of shares in Sakura High making her one of the influential member of the board of directors.

"Welcome home, mom." Suzuka greeted her mother. A crisp slap landed in Suzuka's cheek which left her stunned. She never expected that her mother would slap her like that. Though she don't wanted it to fell, a teardrop rolled from Suzuka's eye.
