When it was so easy for you to walk away
From all the memories
I was full of Hope for that split second
Thinking that you were true, in all that you do
Thinking I know the feelings you had
That day you said, "I love you too."
I was thinking you cared
And that no matter how lost or how scared
You would be there
I was thinking that you
Could never stand to see me cry
I was thinking that you
Were my source of happiness in this life
And I can swear
I really thought you cared
I was thinking no matter what someone says about you
You loved me, too.
And I had so much
Faith in you
