"There's Baskerville" John said pointing to the distance "That's Grimpen Village----So that must be ... yeah, it's Dewer's Hollow."

"Why am I here again?" I questioned

"You're useful" Sherlock said

"How?"

"You just are"

We drove into Grimpen Village walked towards the entrance of the pub, there was a young man who is apparently a tour guide is talking to a group of tourists.

"Three times a day, tell your friends. Tell anyone!"

Sherlock and I walked around the pub as john check in.

"You didn't go visit a school did you?" Sherlock said to me "You went to ask someone about Irene Adler. Didn't you?"

"Wha--"

"Did you ask my brother? You aren't that stupid are?"

"No... I asked Molly Hooper"

"Oh"

After Sherlock got beer we walked outside to where to tour guide was sitting

"Mind if we join you?" Sherlock says. The tour guide shakes his head.

"It's not true, is it? You haven't actually seen this ... hound thing." I ask sitting down

"You from the papers?" The guide asked

"Not really, I'm an author, Plus I'm just curious. Have you really seen it?"

"Maybe."

"Got any proof?" Sherlock said

"Why would I tell you if I did? 'Scuse me." He stands up to leave. John came over with his own drink.

"Bet's off, John, sorry." Sherlock said

"What?" John said

"Bet? Wait, wait. What bet?"

"Oh, we bet John here fifty quid that you couldn't prove you'd seen the hound." Sherlock said pointing at me.

"Yeah, the guys in the pub said you could." John said

"Well, you're gonna lose your money." The tour guide said

"Yeah?" I said raising my eyebrow

"Yeah, darling I've seen it. Only about a month ago, up at the Hollow. It was foggy, mind – couldn't make much out." He said.

Darling? That little--

"I see. No witnesses, I suppose." Sherlock said interrupting my thought

"No, but ..."

"Never are." I said

"Wait ..."

He pulls out his phone and shows us a photograph. It was a photo of a dark animal shaped thing.

"Is that it? It's not exactly proof, is it?" Sherlock huffed

"Sorry, John. I win."

"Wait, wait. That's not all. People don't like going up there, you know – to the Hollow. Gives them a ... bad sort of feeling." the guide argues

"Ooh! Is it haunted? Is that supposed to convince us?" I asked rolling my eyes

"Nah, don't be stupid, nothing like that, but I reckon there is something out there – something from Baskerville, escaped." he said in a hushed voice

"A clone, a super-dog?" Sherlock mocked

"Maybe. God knows what they've been spraying on us all these years, or putting in the water. I wouldn't trust 'em as far as I could spit."

"Is that the best you've got?" I asked putting my hand on my hips

"I had a mate once who worked for the MOD. One weekend we were meant to go fishin' but he never showed up – well, not 'til late. When he did, he was white as a sheet. I can see him now. 'I've seen things today, Fletch,' he said, 'that I never wanna see again. Terrible things.' He'd been sent to some secret Army place – Porton Down, maybe, maybe Baskerville, or somewhere else: In the labs there – the really secret labs, he said he'd seen ... terrible things. Rats as big as dogs, he said, and dogs...dogs the size of horses."
