"Oh my I didn't recognize you dear," she said, surprised. "I read one of your books; truly lovely it was."
"Thank you," I said, smiling.
"Well I ought to introduce you to the boys. Come with me," she said, dragging me to another apartment.
"Boys, this is Raven James," she said. I looked into the apartment to see Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. I had done some reading on them.
"Are you really Raven James?" John asked with wide eyes "I've read one of your books... They're truly amazing."
"Thank you," I smiled. This is perfect.
"Umm, the names, John Watson and this is Sherlock Holmes" He said pointing at Holmes.
"Very nice to meet you, Ms. James" He said shaking my hand; I look at the book he was reading. It was one of mine.
"Oh I see, you're reading my book" I said
"Yes a lovely mystery, I must say" He said
"Oh thank you so much" I said grinning
"How about we help you unpack you must have a lot of things" John said kindly
"Oh no, I'll be fine all I really have is clothes, nothing big" I responded "Well I better go back to my apartme--- Uh flat, I mean flat"
I walked back down the stairs and sat on the bed.
How in the world am I going to get to Mycroft Holmes, I'm just an author. Oh whatever!
My phone suddenly rang I picked it up for the table and pressed it against my ear.
"Hello?" I said to the phone
"Good to hear from you Raven. How's the flat?" Irene said on the other end
"Actually not bad, really did think it would be worse. Ya know?" I said walking around the small room.
"You really must learn, how to speak proper English Raven" She scoffed
"Hey! I can speak, however I damn want Missy" I sassed back at her
"Okay, okay" She said "I'll see you soon"
"See ya soon, Reeny," I said
