Harry and I walked into S.T.A.R. Labs. Only Cisco and Caitlin were there.
"Where's Barry?" Harry asked. "He's late."
"Late is kind of his signature move," Caitlin said.
"Hey, you guys want to see my signature move?" Cisco said.
There was a gust of wind as Barry sped into the room. "Sorry, guys. I got a little held up." He laughed to himself. "You had to be there."
"I'm gonna need a moment or two alone with Mister Allen," Harry said.
"Ooh, you're in trouble," Cisco mocked as the three of us left the room and walked into one of the labs with a giant window where it would have been a lot smarter to have put a wall. We watched as Harry lectured Barry, probably about being on time and responsibilities and blah, blah, blah. I love the man but sometimes he can be a little too much.
Barry had left after he had appeared to have gotten a phone call. I walked out to a still irritated Harry. I wrapped my arms around him from behind, bending down some so I could rest my chin on his shoulder. I could feel his muscles tense up a bit and then relax. He put a hand over my arm and gently rubbed it with his thumb.
"Maybe you should cut him some slack," I said.
Harry opened his mouth to speak but I continued. "Yes, he's late every once in a while, but he has super powers. He's just having a little bit of fun and he saves people in the process."
"He could save people by helping out with this research," he countered.
I let go of Harry and stood up straight and sat in a chair directly in front of him so I could face him as I spoke. "Try to put yourself in his shoes. What would you do if you had his powers?"
"Research."
I rolled my eyes. "If you didn't have to worry about research. If you were his age what would you do with those powers?"
"Are you calling me old?"
"Harry."
"No, seriously. Is there something you want to talk about? Are you suddenly realizing the cons of dating 'the old guy'?" he asked.
"Oh, for crying out loud," I groaned. I grabbed his face in my hands and brought it down to mine, pressing my lips against his for what seemed like the longest time.
After we pulled away Harry was silent for a couple of seconds. "Thanks, I really needed that."
"You're welcome," I said as I kissed him once more. "And to answer your foolish rambling, I don't see you as the 'old guy'. I'm dating the brilliant and gorgeous Doctor Harrison Wells and I wouldn't trade you for anything in the world. There are absolutely no cons to dating you. You are absolutely perfect and I love you."

Barry was out fighting yet another meta-human. I swear, sometimes that boys scares the hell out of me, more than my own brother sometimes. He came in at normal speed. The meta somehow sucked the speed right out of him.
"He runs slow even for a normal person," Cisco said as Barry ran on the treadmill.
"You can't just lose your powers, okay? Your DNA was transformed by the particle accelerator blast. There's no way to untransform DNA," Caitlin said.
"Yeah, tell that to the uber driver who charged me 65 bucks to take me here," Barry said. "I had to tell her I was coming from a cosplay party."
"So we were wrong," Harry said. "The meta-human doesn't electrocute people; he siphons electricity, thereby removing your power."
