(Kadence and Beckett walk into their room. Upon entering, Kadence immediately flops onto their bed. Beckett then sits on the bed with her laying on it.)
Kadence: (Looking at the ceiling) What are we going to do? Everyone's dead. We've got only a few more allies before they're all dead.
Beckett: (Looking at his feet) We'll do something. We've been able to do things up to this point.
Kadence: Yes, but everything we've done to this point has gotten someone killed.
Beckett: I never said we were doing good things.
Kadence: You're no help, you know.
Beckett: What do you want me to do?
Kadence: I want you to help me figure out what to do. What are we going to do about Daria and Walker's wedding? Are we going to go to it? Are we just going to give up and let Walker win?
Beckett: (Assertively, standing up and facing Kadence) I'll tell you what we're going to do. We're going to go to this wedding and we're going to end things once and for all. I'll face Walker myself if I have to.
Kadence: (Sitting up) You're a madman! What are doing thinking you'll face Walker?
Beckett: I'm done with this. We've all fallen victim to hell because of Walker's madness! I'm going to end all of this. Mark the date! January 20, 1853: the night I end Walker's tyrannical reign!
Kadence: (Standing up and reaching for Beckett's waist) Beckett-
Beckett: (Rejecting her grasp) Don't "Beckett" me! Well, maybe later, but not now! I've got scheming to do!
(Beckett storms out of the room, leaving Kadence in shock at his newfound passion.)
