I sat down at my cute little white desk that everyone in the country had, and pulled out my homework. I sat for hours studying and writing because I wanted to end my school year so well that the country could see how nessasary it was for me to work in the government, specifically the judicial branch.
Our country is separated by hair, eye and skin colors. Also height, strength and fitness. I have long straight dirty blonde hair, pale freckled skin and caremel brown eyes. I have slight abs and am average height. My name is Carrie Chase.
I am increadibly intelligent and very good at debating. So it seems obvious that I would go into law; and I wanted longingly to do that. But there was one problem.
Everyone in our judicial branch was blue eyed. Because blue eyes supposedly had a higher influence percentage than other eye colors. Therefore they make better lawyers. But most importantly they are all males.
The country we used to call America is now called Ďimona and is separated into 50 different sections. I am in section 37 due to my physical features.
It was the last day of school in 2 weeks and I was a 4th year in collage, meaning it was my last year in school before the real world. Most women my age didn't go to college because college seemed pointless; I mean why go if I'll never have a job anyways?
But I thought it was important to get an education to show the government that they don't own me. But we'll save that story for another time....I stood up from my desk and walked over to my boring white bed and dozed off dreaming of what it would be like to have the freedom of being whatever and doing whatever my little heart desires.
