Thomas's POV

When morning came I was woken up, by a crow. A crow!! It was going threw one of our bags, trying to get food. I scared it off by yelling at it, but woke everyone up in the process. I looked at everyone, till my eyes landed on Taylor. She looked scared, and like she'd been crying silently during the night. I then got to my feet and checked our surroundings.

"Are they gone?" Newt asked.

"Yeah, I think we're safe for now." I replied.

"I hope so." I just barely heard Taylor whisper.

"Okay, we should get moving." I said as I moved to get my bag. "Let's pack it up!" I called out. "Aris, come on. Fry, Winston. Let's go." I said, as I helped Teresa to her feet.

"Hey, man. You okay?" I heard Fry say, after I heard a groan off Winston.

"Come on. Let's go." Minho said as he helped my sister.

When we were all ready, we made our way. As we walked a bit, we got to on top of a wrecked car park, and seen how bad everything was. How the buildings were all destroyed, sand laid everywhere, shattered glass here and there and abandoned vehicles that were all wrecked. It was terrible.

Taylor's POV

We traveled for a few hours in the hot sun, threw the sandy streets all as we watched our surroundings.

"What the hell happened to this place?" Fry asked.

"I don't know. It doesn't look like anyone's been here in a long time." Newt said.

"You can say that again." I said.

"I hope the whole worlds not like this." Aris said.

"Whoa, whoa, hang on, stop." Thomas said after a few seconds. "Do you hear that?" He asked us.

"Aircraft..." I breathed.

"Get down! Everybody, hide! Hide! Hide!" Thomas yelled.

"Get in here. In here, in here!" I yelled, gesturing to under some fallen concrete. We all hid under the concrete, just before an aircraft flew above our heads. To be exact, three aircrafts.

"They're never going to stop looking for us, are they?" Minho said.

I looked at him. Scared for what the answer was. He seen this, and held me close to him. We staid like that for a few minutes till the aircrafts were ears length away. When they were, we continued our journey. At the moment we were walking up a sand dune. As we reached the top I tumbled down. When I reached the end, i spent out the sand I had in my mouth, then looked back up to the others. I then started to laugh, and so did they. Thomas then started to talk and pointed to the mountains in the distance. All of a sudden Winston collapsed.

"Winston!!" We all cried.

"He's hurt bad." Minho said.

"What do we do?" Theresa said, one I rushed back up the sand dune.

"Winston! Can you hear me?" Newt said. "It's okay." He reinsured.

"Minho help me." I said.

Minho looked back at me, as I was going threw the bags and making a stretcher. At first he didn't have a clue on what I was doing, but then understood. After a few seconds a few of the others started to help, and we had it done in no time. When I was sure it was stable, the boys placed Winston on it, and Fry and Minho dragged it. Everyone was walking in front of them, while I walked behind everyone.
