Sitting among the camp, I watched as many people's feet passed me as I stared at the ground. I was stuck in my own thoughts, till I noticed a pair of feet stop in front of me. Not wanting to face who ever it was, I acted as if I didn't notice them.
"Taylor." A familiar sweet loving voice spoke. Gasping, I looked up to see who it was.
"Mihno..." I whispered his name. As I stared at him, my eyes began to blur. "I'm so sorry..." I cried, hiding my face in my lap.
"Taylor. Hey. Don't cry." He knelt to hug me. I didn't know what to do. I wasn't sure if I should run or hug him back. So I just continued to cry. "Hey. Come on. Follow me." He grabbed hold of my hands, lifting me to my feet. Still holding my hand, he lead me threw the camp towards the cliff. Up there, we were alone to talk. Or for him to push me over the side of the cliff.
"I know you probably don't want to hear it and I know you hate me. But please let me explain." I stepped away from him, away from the edge.
"What? Taylor. I don't hate you." He stared at me.
"Then... Why bring me up here?" I looked to the ledge.
"Ha?" He look over the ledge. "Taylor. No! I wouldn't do that to you." He rushed up to hug me, but I stepped back in fear. "Taylor..." He looked at me sadly. "I'm sorry..." He stepped away from me.
"Ha?" I looked up at him in confusion. "Mihno. Why you apologizing?" I asked.
"Because your like this because of me!" He cried. "I made you think I hated you and that I brought you up here to kill you."
"Minho..." I rushed to hug him. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." I cried.
MINHO'S POV
I watched as she backed away from me when I went to hug her. There was nothing but fear shown on her face. It was then that everything began to click. 'How could I be such an idiot! I ignored her to think, and didn't bother to realise how it would make her feel. I'm such an idiot...' "Taylor..." I looked at me sadly, taking step away from her. "I'm sorry..." I stood away from her.
"Ha?" She looked up at me in confusion. "Mihno. Why you apologizing?" I asked, her glassy eyes looking into mine.
"Because your like this because of me!" I cried. "I made you think I hated you and that I brought you up here to kill you."
"Minho..." Taylor rushed up to hug me with tear filled eyes. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." She kept apologizing, tears falling down her cheek.
"Taylor. No." I hugged her back. "I should have known better that you aren't like WICKED."
"Minho... I want to tell you something..." She pulled away.
"What is it?" I looked at her in confusion.
"Do you remember when Teresa and I were taken away after 'tests'?" She asked. "Well they did something to me." She held the back of her neck. Moving her hair, I went to look, but seen nothing. "And after what ever they did. Some memories started coming back." She turned to face me. But soon looked away. "But... Before we left the maze I took the stinger of the dead Griever we killed and hit it in my pocket. And when I got thrown around by the grievers, the stinger got me."
"What?" I looked at her.
"My memories started to come back then. But it was a slow process. But after WICKED tested me. It's like they tried to stop my memories from coming back." I looked at her, not knowing what to do. I wanted to ask her what she remembered of her life before the maze, but I wasn't sure if I should.
"What do you... What do you remember?" I asked, making us sit on a rock.
"I remember my mother taking Thomas and I to WICKED because she thought we'd safe. I remember creating the grievers and them slowly disappearing one by one." She looked at her hands that rested in her lap. "And... I remember us." She looked up to me, taking hold of my hand.
