Gee gave me instructions to stay inside the truck while he went and handled his business inside .. I looked around the neighborhood and noticed it wasn't much different from my old neighborhood .. After about 10 minutes Gee still hadn't came out so I got out of the truck .. I was itching to at least breathe a different environment !! I leaned against the truck and watched some boys play basketball across the street .. they looked good as hell and one of them was looking dead at me ..
I smiled as he smirked at me and started walking my way .. he didn't have a shirt on and his muscles were glistening from the sweat that graced his caramel body ..
"You from around here ?" He asked tucking the basketball underneath his arm
"No" I replied
"Can I have your number ?" I blushed knowing I didnt even have a phone and I definitely couldn't have him calling the house
"You can give me yours" I replied back
"Aight .. you got a pen or some ?" He asked with a heavy NewYork accent
"Uhh hold on .."
I searched through Gee's truck finally finding a pen ..
He wrote his number on my hand with the name Tevin underneath it
"What's your name ?" He asked
I bit my lip and looked around wondering should I even give him my real name .. but before I could answer I felt someone grab me by the wrist and yanked me away ..
"What I tell you baby ?" Gee asked glaring at me
"Relax, I didnt leave the truck !!"
"I told you not to get out of the truck !!" He said pushing me towards the passenger door
I looked back at the guy to see he was walking off as he looked back one last time and winked at me ..
I smiled as I climbed into the truck
"Who the fuck was that ?"
"I dont know .. I barely get to see people ya know" I said with my voice full of sarcasm
He glared at me and looked back at the road
"Where are we ?" I asked looking out the window
"The Bronx"
"Can we go to Brooklyn ?" I asked
"For what ?"
"I just want to see if it still looks the same .."
"It do !! We goin home"
I glared at him as he stopped at a red light .. I thought about jumping out and taking off .. but I knew better when I didn't have a dime on me .. Plus, I couldn't just up and leave even if I wanted to .. once we pulled up to the house I hopped out and slammed the door as I stormed into the house ..
"Drama queen !!" Gee yelled at me as I slammed the front door in his face
I heard him laugh from outside as I made my way upstairs .. a few seconds later he walked in ..
I got in bed and turned my tv on .. shit was gone change one way or another .. that's when I flipped open my computer typing in Facebook.com and made my new account ..
I refused to stay under his thumb forever !!
That's when I glanced down at my hand .. I didnt want to call as soon as I got home so I waited for later on that night once Gee and Boo Boo kitty had left ..
Tevin and I stayed on the phone for a whole 2 hours before we hung up with each other .. but not before I gave him clear instructions on not to call my number back ..
