I watched Gee in the rearview mirror until I couldn't see him anymore !! I thought back to how many times he had called me dramatic and thought to myself maybe I was overreacting !! Quickly dismissing the thought as fast as it popped up in my head I shook my head and continued to stare out of the window ..
"You aight ?" Jaceon asked not taking his eyes off the road
"Yeah, I'm fine .. just thinkin !!" I replied
"About ?" He finally glanced over to me
"As mad as I am at him right now .. I still wanna help him" I glanced at Jace hoping he was catching my drift
"And how you gonna do that ?" He asked merging on to the expressway
"Prove that Candice is the conniving bitch I think she is !!" I said
Jaceon glanced at me and looked back at the road ..
"You gonna help me or not ?" I asked him
Jaceon kept driving as I stared upside his head waiting for his answer ..
"Look ma .. I know Gee and all but I got a business to run .. I can't be solving his problems and mine !!" He replied shaking his head
I sighed "I just need your help aight .. Nothin major !!" I responded
"What you got on her already ?" He asked me speeding the car up
"A couple phone calls on tape that sounds like she was setting him up !!"
"That's it ?" He asked then smirked
"Come on now .. I trust my gut !!" I replied Bette frustrated
"What Gee have to say about these phone calls ?" He asked
"I never got the chance to tell him about them .. I left before I could !!"
"And even if you is right about her bein police .. what you plan on doin to her ?" Jaceon looked me up and down sizing me up cause me to laugh
"You barely know me !! So don't let the pretty or innocence fool you !!" I replied with a chuckle
Jaceon smiled "Like I said .. what you gonna do about it ?" He asked again
"Whatever I gotta do .. I want her dead !! She fuckin with the wrong one !!" I said before returning my attention back to the road

The projects were jumping as usual as I returned yet again to my old stomping grounds !! No matter how many times I came back to thr place it always felt like the first time .. I hadn't talked to my brother since Gee first got locked up so the visit was well overdue .. I walked up the sidewalk with my Louis bag clutched tightly to my side .. I hadn't forgot about the whole Tevin situation, and I'd be damned if I let anyone catch me slipping .. I glanced back at Jaceon one last time who was watching me from his truck before I knocked on the door .. My heart dropped when I heard my dads voice yell my moms name ..
"The bastard survived" I whispered to myself gripping my clutch a little tighter
Then the door swung open .. It was my mom .. She glanced back one last time before giving me a nervous smile and asking me to come in .. I walked in right away locking eyes with the devil, a look of fear crossed his facr but he quickly masked it ..
"Here to finish me off ?" He asked sitting in his recliner with nothing but his jeans on and bandages wrapped around his torso
"I can if that's what you want !!" I replied taking my gun out of my bag "It won't be a problem at all !!" I said taking it off safety causing my mom to quickly intervene
"Tia, Tony !! Both of you stop it !!" She said glancing back and forth between the both of us
"Is that what Gee been doing to you all these years .. turning you into a female version of him ?" He asked
"Maybe .. what did you think he waa doing to me ?" I asked him staring him down
He smiled at me before returning his attention back to the television .. I felt disgusted as I continued to stare at him .. What kind of father would do that yo their on child ?
"You wanna sit down Tia ?" My mom asked me snapping me out of my trance
"No, I was looking for Tay !!" I replied rolling my eyes at my dad
"He's downstairs somewhere !!"
I turned and walked out .. not long afterwards I heard my mom call my name, I looked back to see her following me
"Yeah ?" I asked
"He didn't mean what he said Tia .. he's a good guy at heart !!" She said with a half smile slightly trying to convince herself
I laughed "Ma, if you wanna stat with the man who gave up your daughter to a stranger and still not even apologize for it.. thats your business !! But don't try to convince me he's a good person because he's not !! A nigga would be dead if he tried that shit with my child .. but there you are .. still married to him, and catering to him hand and foot !! I love you ma, but you and him can go to hell !!"
She stared at me in shock before I walked away leaving her standing there ..
As soon as I hit the pavement I heard my brothers voice ..
"I thought that was you .." he said smiling at me
"Its me" I said hugging him
"What do I owe this visit ?" He asked
"I need your help with somethin" I motioned for him to follow me to Jaceons truck ..
"Anything you need babygirl" he replied following me
