I sat in the security room with my feet propped up on another chair eating Gee and I's favorite candy, Sour Patch Kids !! He kept a stash of them in the room like a big ass kid .. I had been watching Boo Boo kitty sing and flounce around the house for the longest but she never made another phone call .. I was starting to wonder was I barking up the wrong tree, then Pimp called the house .. I grabbed the phone as quick as I could as I watched Candice pick up the phone in the kitchen ..
"Hello" We both said at the same time
"Baby" Pimps voice came through the receiver
"I got it Candice" I said waiting for her to hang up
"Okay"
I watched her pull the phone away from her face but she never hung up .. waiting a couple seconds she put the phone right back to her ear ..
I smirked "Candice .. you can hang up !!" I yelled into the phone again
She still stood there with the phone to her face thinking she was fooling somebody !! I cocked my head to the side and sighed trying not to go downstairs and cuss her out ..
"Whats up P" I said into the receiver as I watched Candice on the surveillance monitor eavesdropping on our conversation ..
"It's about that time .. you ready ?" He asked
"Yeah" I hung up the phone before he could say anything else ..
I didn't want that bitch to know anything about Gee .. I didn't trust her as far as I could throw her ..
I got up typing the security code into the door it slid open then closed .. It was perfectly hidden and nobody would ever think it was there .. I walked to my room sliding into my air mazes and headed downstairs just to be met by Candice .. I rolled my eyes to keep from punching her in her damn throat ..
"Where you going ?" She asked
"Out !!" I stopped in front of her folding my arms .. almost wishing she would say the wrong thing to me ..
"You know Gee wouldn't want you out without him .."
"I don't care at this point !! Im trying to help him .."
She sighed "Baby, you know its a big possibility he's not coming home right .."
I frowned up "So why the fuck are you still here ?"
She stared at me with a shocked expression "I'm here looking out for you right now .."
"I dont need lookin out after, so feel free to leave !!" I walked out of the house slamming the door
Pimp smirked at me as I walked to his truck frowning
"Whats your problem ? Candice ?" He asked already knowing
"Yes" I replied hopping into the truck and slamming the door
"Aye .. dont be slamming my shit because you mad at her !!" He drove out of the driveway
I ignored him "I'm telling you .. somethin is off with that bitch .. she was listening to me and your conversation when we was on the phone !!"
"How you know ?" He asked
"Just trust me .. I know !! And I heard her talking on the phone about me .. I'm convinced she got somethin to do with Gee being in jail !!"
Pimp laughed "Because she eavesdropped on you baby ?"
I sighed "No, because of the way she was talking on the phone with whoever !! I'm telling you what I heard .. she doesn't give two damn whether Gee comes home or not .. she even told me today to leave it alone because its a big possibility he won't be coming back .. what woman you know gonna give up on their man that easily ?" I asked turning towards him in my seat
Pimp shook his head "Tell Gee .. see what he say"
"I'm telling you !! Im not tryin to have Gee stressed up in there !!" I replied
"We'll talk later" He said picking up his phone making a phone call
I shifted in my seat glaring out of the window .. We drove in silence as we approached Rikers .. The sight of the prison alone gave me goosebumps knowing Gee was locked up in that bitch .. I quickly got out of the truck heading inside ..
Pimp had already went to Gee's hearing and his bond was set at 2 million ..
With duffel bags full of cash we headed inside ..
