~ Ariana's P.O.V. ~

I  took everything in.  I was in utter shock to who was right in front of me. I couldn't help but fall to my knees. He smiled at me, and started to walk towards me. He was glowing, and being in His presence was the most amazing feeling ever. He took my hand and said, "Ariana, I have some things to share with you." I had the biggest smile on my face, waiting to hear what He was about to say.

"I'm going to completely change your life. I'm going to use Joey to do it. But you're going to have to give up a lot of things." He said. I nodded.

"It's going to be a hard journey, but I'm always going to be right next to you, even if you don't feel me, I'll always be there." He continued. I smiled and said, "Whatever You want me to do, Lord. I'll do it."

He smiled once again, and embraced me. Nothing felt better than this.

I woke up suddenly, and looked at the clock. It was 3 AM. I've never felt so peaceful in my life. The dream I just had, gave me chills. That's the first time God had really spoken to me, and I couldn't wait to get to Heaven and worship Him forever.

I was a little confused though at what He said. I was going to have to give up a lot of things, but I have no idea what He's talking about.

I heard a voice; it was coming from outside my window. I looked out the window, and saw Joey sitting on the chair outside, playing his guitar. I slipped on a jacket and tiptoed downstairs, and through the back door. He looked over in my direction, and smiled. I sat down on the chair next to him. "Why are you up?" I said. He shrugged, "Couldn't sleep. You?"

"Yeah, same." I wanted to tell him about my dream, and what God had said, but I didn't know what Joey would think, so I didn't tell him right away.

"What are you playing?" I asked.

"Nothing really, I was just playing around."He said. "Name a song."

I thought for a minute, "the scientist."

He said, "Good song."  He started to strum, and sing.

Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry
You don't know how lovely you are
I had to find you, tell you I need you
Tell you I'll set you apart

Tell me your secrets and ask me your questions
Oh let's go back to the start
Running in circles, coming in tails
Heads on a science apart

Nobody said it was easy
It's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard
Oh, take me back to the start.

He said, "Sing the next part."

I started to sing,

I was just guessing at numbers and figures
Pulling your puzzles apart
Questions of science, science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart

Tell me you love me, come back and haunt me
Oh and I rush to the start
Running in circles, chasing our tails
Coming back as we are

Nobody said it was easy
Oh it's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be so hard
I'm going back to the start.

He finished the song, and we sat there, in a beautiful silence. It wasn't awkward at all, it was nice.

The silence was soon interrupted by rain, starting to fall.

He looked at me and said, "Ariana, I need to tell you something."

I nodded, waiting for him to speak.

"The reason I'm awake, well it's not because I can't sleep. It's because I had a dream, that really had me thinking." He said.

"What was the dream about?" I asked.

"God told me something. He told me He wanted me to help you, and that He was going to change your life."

I was completely shocked at what just came out of his mouth, considering that was exactly what my dream was about.

"Joey, I had that dream too..God said He was going to use you to help me." I said.

His eyes widened, "Are you serious?"

I nodded.

"Wow." He said.

The rain started to come down harder.

"Well, Ariana, I'm really excited to see what God's got in store for us." He said.

I smiled, and nodded in agreement, "Me too."

We sat out there for a few more minutes, until it started to pour.

I said goodnight to Joey, and went back to sleep.

I didn't know what was going to happen, but I do trust that God know's what He's doing.
