~Ariana's P.O.V.~

I set down my guitar, as the doctor walked in.

"Ariana, we need to talk about what's next." He said, sitting down next to me.

I crossed my arms, not wanting to listen.

"You have to recover, Ariana. I know you're trying, but maybe you should stop relying on yourself and get professional help. And we're here to help you." He said.

"Professional help is not going to get me anywhere. The only way I'm going to recover is with God. I thought I was relying on Him, but I keep failing." I said.

"Recovery isn't a one time thing. It doesn't get a day off. You have to choose recovery everyday. You're going to fail. But you have to get right back up and fight again." He said.

"I guess I'm just scared." I said.

"Of what?" He asked.

"The unknown. What if I don't make it through? What if I never get my boyfriend back?" I said.

"You can't worry about the unknown. God has always been faithful, and He always will be. Nothing that happens to you is a surprise to Him." He said.

"You're right." I said.

"So do you want this? Do you want to recover?" He asked.

I nodded, "I want to."

"Well, recovery starts now. Tomorrow, well start therapy, and well take it from there." He said.

"Sounds good to me." I smiled, "Thank you."

"You're very welcome." He said, and then left the room.

I sat in the room in silence for a while, until my dad walked in.

"There's a visitor here for you sweetheart." He said.

I raised an eyebrow, "Who?"

The door opened and someone who I haven't seen in the longest time walked in.

"Austin?" I said.

She ran over to me, "Ariana! I haven't seen you in forever. I missed you so much! I've been in England for a while and when I heard what happened I came back right away."

"You didn't have to do that." I said. "But I missed you so much!" I hugged her.

I didn't even notice that my dad had left.

"So, how long are you gonna be in here for?" She asked.

"A while, probably." I said.

"And how are things with Joey?"

My heart dropped at the sound of his name.

"We haven't talked in 3 months." I said.

Her eyes widened, "What? Why?"

"I don't know. I haven't talked to any of them since the accident." I said.

"Well I'm sure he will come around." She said.

"We should do something fun today!" She added.

"Like what?" I said.

"We could go to the mall." She said.

"I'm not allowed to leave the hospital." I said.

"Ill be right back." She said.

About 2 minutes later, she returned.

"I just talked to the doctor. He said as long as I'm with you, we can go for a few hours." She smiled.

"Really?" I smiled.

"Yeah, come on. Let's go. Go get changed." She said.

I did as I was told, and Austin drove to the mall.

We went to a few different stores, and then sat down in the main area.

We saw a few girls freaking out about something while running in the opposite direction.

"What's that about?" I asked.

"Let's go find out." Austin said.

We walked in the direction of the girls, and as we got closer, we only heard more screaming girls.

There were girls, standing in a line. I stood on my toes to see what was going on, but I wasn't tall enough.

Austin, on the other hand, could easily see what was happening.

"There guys up there signing autographs I think." She said.

"One direction?" I said, laughing.

"You wish." She smirked.

"Then who is it?" I asked.

"I don't know, let's try to get closer." She said.

We walked around to the side, where we could see better.

My heart started to beat fast as I found my eyes locked with familiar blue ones.

It couldn't be...
