A Worn out Love (Punk Luke Hemmings)

Chapter 3

Alex's Pov.

I sit there shocked at the sight in front of me. Calum on the ground with Luke sitting on him beating the crap out of him. I watch as the blood comes out of Calum's nose and out from Luke's knuckles. Ashton and Michael are up out of their seats trying to pull Luke off of Calum, I slowly stand up and walk over to them. I set my hand on Luke's shoulder,

"Luke please just stop."

The moment he hears my voice, he calms down. I can feel him calm down under my touch. I grab onto Luke's arm and pull him up off Calum. I start walking away with Luke trailing behind me, I look over my shoulder to see the boys and Brooke looking at me, I mouth to them that I'm okay. They nod back to me and go back to helping Calum.

I walk around the school and walk over to a little place with a bunch of trees. I feel his eyes on me as we are walking and I am surprised that he hasn't made some sort of comment. It's only my first day of school and already a bunch of drama has started. I stop walking and turn around a look at Luke. I stand their standing at him waiting for an explanation but all he does is stare back at me,

"What was that?"

"He was touching you and you are mine, no one is allowed to have you but me."

His words aggravate me to no other. I feel anger rise up in me, I have to calm down before I can speak. I walk towards Luke and push him into the tree. I stare at him for a minute before I say anything.

"For the last time. I.AM.NOT.YOURS. If you think punching my friends in the face and forcing yourself on me is going to make me like you are wrong. At this point I don't even want to get to know you, there is nothing in your favor to make me like you. So I suggest if you want anything to do you clean up your act and talk to me properly and treat my friends properly. This is the first day of school and there is already drama, I hope your happy you have officially ruined this day."

By the time I am done, there is a look of shock on Luke's face. I am actually quite surprised myself. I am usually pretty quiet but if you mess with my friends or family you won't see a great side of me. I wait a few minutes to see if he will say anything. He just stares at me, I let out a sigh and walk away. Before I can walk away I feel a hand grab my wrist and I am pulled to face Luke. I am so close to him I can feel his breath on my lips,

"I'm sorry. I am truly sorry. I am not one to be able to show my feeling well, I get jealous easy. No girl has ever told me no, they always have been putty in my hands. But of course not you, you are so different from all of them. I don't know why but I am pulled to you. I find it so utterly pathetic I don't even know you, hell it's the first day of school. I am sorry. Please just give me a chance and go on a date with me tonight?"  

It's amazing how is demeanor can change from killer mode to this kind of sweet guy. I can already tell he has been deeply hurt and has some issues. I don't know why but I feel like I should give him a chance.

"Okay, I will give you chance, but you have to tell Calum sorry."

A smile comes across his face. I have never seen him smile only smirk, his smile is the greatest thing. He just nods his head. He grabs my hand and leads us back to my group of friends. I see Calum sitting on the chair and see the blood wiped of his face. He has ice resting on his nose though, I walk over to him and take his face in my hands. I pull his head up and study his face, I lean down and leave a kiss on his nose. He smiles up at me and I smile back to him. I can hear a quick cough and me and everyone else look over to Luke, he looks kind of mad at what just happened but I can tell he is trying not to lose his cool. He walks up to Calum,

"Um hey, I wanna apologize about what just happened. I am really sorry."

Every one is looking at Luke shocked, I am guessing Luke is never the one to apologize about anything. I see a smile go across Calum's face.

"Its okay, it's all cool."

Luke just smiles a little and looks down. The bell rings signaling that lunch is over. I see Luke look over at me and back to the ground, I go over and wrap my arms around his waist, he wraps his arms around me and pulls me into a nice hug. He lays a small kiss on my forehead then walks away. The boys had left for their next class so it is just me and Brooke. I am about to walk away but Brooke pulls me back,

"Girl you better spill on what just happened. I have known Luke since freshman year and he has never acted that way with a girl. We are going to go to your house and you are going to spill everything. I don't care that we have two periods left we are leaving now."

"Okay I guess that's fine. My mom won't be home so it will just be us two."

She nods her head at me and we start walking over to my house. It takes us about 20 minutes to get there. As we walk in the door there is no sign of my mom just as I had suspected. I walk into the kitchen and grab some food then lead her up to my room. She walks into my room and plops right onto my bed with me following her lead.

"Okay spill."

"Well you know everything about this morning. When we walked away, I went off on him and started yelling at him. He sat there shocked for a little before he actually said anything. He said he was sorry and explained everything and then asked me out. I don't know why but a part of me felt like I should give him a chance so I said yes."

"Well just be careful, I know Luke better then you think I can tell he is different around you but still please be careful."

"I will be, I promise now lets watch some movies."

We set up a bunch of movies and food. During the second movie I start dozing off, I look over at Brooke and she is out. I slowly close my eyes.

I wake a few hours later to my phone beeping. I look over at my clock and it reads 4:47, I grab my phone.

*Message from Unknown*

Hey love, it's Luke. I'm gonna take you out tonight at 8, be ready to leave your house then and oh give me your address.

*Message to Luke*

Well we will have to work on your bossiness' but okay here's my address 46789 Halfaway Road, see you then.
